Unoffical Offical CFC Minecraft Server -- World 2

Oh look another thread.

Id love to play more, but Im taking 25-credit hours of classes this quarter, so my schedule is filled till end of march for the most part.

Need to get on, but Minecraft is crashing!

How long will this world last, Croxis?

The palace is now under construction! :mwaha:

Swink, I keep seeing you try to log on, must be on your end. Graphics drivers up to date?

The world will last for a while, probably 2 weeks minimum, probably longer than a month.

Yeah, I'm sure it's on my part. It's shows the same message each time. I sent a report to the guys.

EDIT: All updated, and same crash happens in Browser. Only happens in MP.

I get random crashes on my MacBook for Minecraft, the only other program that crashes is Safari and that's because of flash...

The story I posted earlier in this thread has been added to our private forum under my blog.

Remember that donations would go there too. :)

If anyone wants to do more stories (I assume Daftpanzer will at least show up with something random soon), I think it'd be cool if we could add them to that page as well, and then perhaps make a "Tome of Minetales".

Ok, I really have no problems with neighbours. And now Crystal Caverns showed up, I think it was east of my town. Crystal Caverns, I'm sorry if this upsets you in any way, especially as this is my first message to you - but why did you make a big, ugly hole in the middle of the sea, next to my sea town? How am I supposed to make my epic naval docks look nice when there's a big *lack* of sea next to it? It's not even within your city borders!

This is generally to everyone:

Is it only me that think it's just somewhat good form to at least announce/ask if it is ok to make medium to major changes to neutral territory? There's really no point for me to build a naval docks if someone f.x. finds it important and/or cool to build a railroad bridge circumventing my town in spirals through neutral territory towards its remote island. It kinda ruins the view when there's stuff in the way of some reason.

I don't like that people build or harshly terraform outside city territory. It's really not a nice thing to do. I know, I don't own the areas. But you don't either. Treat them nicely.

Are you sure it isn't a chunk that hasn't loaded? I keep running into an isolated chunk, looking down to find iron ore/diamonds and then digging a hole straight down to them (easy to refill).

It isn't a chunk. :) I just found out it was Minecraftzubal who made a mistake with some sand blocks, he only dug in two (croxis did a check) so I don't think he did it by purpose. Sorry for ranting.

However, I still hope nobody disagrees with me. Construction/terraforming on own sites only, with exceptions of course. (For example, roads are fun to build inland.) At least to begin with.

EDIT:
The first buildings in Danesmoat have been constructed! What do people think of the style?

I actually just visited your city in-person (well, in-game in-person...) and I thought it was nice. It'd be cool if, since it's on the water, you have a single tile of water in each building that goes deeper to form a river network so you can easily get around different buildings.

I'd like to connect Skyholm to Capital via an elevated rail. We're right across from each other and more or less on the same height. It would work well I think.

Website now updated with two, no 3 new features:
