[UXP] Legends of Revolutions

So I went ahead and got the light version of the torrent on the last page (Cause I'm impatient ) and started a game. And it started out fine, but when I founded my capital it started slowing down, and then when it finally did start my capital had Islam and Buddhism already and a ton of "138"s where a religion would be.

Is this my computer? Or what? I was able to play two turns, but then the game crashed. Then I restarted the mod and it did the same thing, so I screened it this time.

So did I install it incorrectly or something? Or is it my computer? (I couldn't think of why though).

Were you playing multiplayer? As RiddleofSteel mentions, there are problems with the Revolutions component when playing multiplayer.

I had the same problem, and my game froze. Hopefully this is fixed in the full version :please:

Are you guys playing with choose religions on?

That's strange, that bug has only been reported in MP, and I was pretty sure it was related to choose religions. I'd like to take a look at the save, could you upload your SP game where this is happening?

I had exactly this problem when (attempting) play by hotseat as well...

I wanted to see a save because he stated it occured in a single player game.

It wol't let me load, says the save game is protected, and that I need to ensure my assets aren't modified. This looks like the type of error you'd get for a multiplayer save.

Ohh. I had lock modified assets on, don't remember why, but I did. Would that cause the problem?

It might. Not sure to be honest, it's a good theory though. I'll see if I can reproduce it that way. Unfortunately though for the save it makes it impossible to check, since I need to run a debug dll to get any useful information, and that modifies the assets.

Okay, I went and turned "Lock modified assets" off and it worked fine so I'm pretty sure that was the problem. Wonder why "Lock Modified Assets" would do that though?

Thank you for all the help! I'm really looking forward to sitting down and playing this mod! (Now that it won't crash)

Sorry, I've been away for awhile. I actually wasn't able to post my save game as it would freeze before I could. I wasn't playing with choose religions on. According to the last post it was "Lock Modified Assets" but I haven't played in awhile. I've been busy with school and I found AoFDII on the forums and was immediately addicted.

Got a question that I'm sure ranks as a noob question.

How do deal with loading this mod in relation to using Steam? Normally having BTS on your system creates the needed folders and even if you uninstall the game (like I had to do) all your folders that have your mods remain yet I can't get my Steam Civ game to recognize I have the mods.

Am I missing a really easy step?

I got a warning, I'm not sure if it was XML or not, but I clicked on LoR Light and it gave me a warning saying something in Spanglish (Spanish and English). I can't remember the message off the top of my head, but it was something about the dimensions of the screen not fitting. I've been able to play LoR Light before, and this is the first time I've gotten this message as fatal. As of yet, I haven't been able to get my game working and so I can't tell y'all if unchecking "Lock Modified Assets" has done anything.
