[UXP] Legends of Revolutions

So is this going to be back up soon?
Just found out about this a few days ago, and I'm really eager to try it out, but the download was removed. :(

It looks fantastic though. Some of you modders are amazing.

EDIT: Apparently all I had to do was look back a page. Maybe I should pay more attention and look more.

It will be back for normal DL soon, dont really have a specific time frame. If you are refering to the Torrent DL on the last page there is a problem with the Vikings, main reason Dls got taken down. So if you are using that you should avoid playing as or against the Vikings, and all else is well.

Just to correct, there is no problem with Vikings in the light version. This is why the full version torrent is down, but light version is still available via my seeding. Unfortunatenaly I still haven't resolved why most people are unable to connect to my main torrent computer, it seems very random who can connect and who can't.

I'd like to get some feedback on the torrent, does it work and are the speeds good? I haven't had much time to spend online, I've had tons of work this week (wake up 4:45 AM, back home 5:50 PM, every day).

If I get my interest up, besides making the Finnish translation I may get interested to make a Eurasia modmod: drop all non-Eurasian civilizations and add in as many European and Asian civilizations as possible. That way I can safely add Finns and get more variety to European and Asian games. Although I'm not really a campaign maker so it would be up to other people to make more content... but that is just an idea that I have at this point.

Merri, I bet you they don't have their ports open. They need to open up the ports in their firewall. Also, if they are using a wireless router, they will need to do it there as well.

The ports are open. However, I'm running a LAN setup that I haven't used before: Windows 7 ICS. I have redirected some ports to client computers from the server for µTorrents, and they work fine. I get the green icon, I get up to 3 MB/s in from torrents I download and the torrents continue seeding rather well.

Will this work with BUFFY? Between LoR and BUFFY I hardly ever play the normal BtS anymore! (and other mods, but those are the main two).

HI ,

there are no valid download links, right ? Could you post one valid download link please ?
I cant see any download links.

Thanks.

You guys work too hard... get a beer and take a break...

I take that back. Get back to work and don't stop until it's all done!!!

Anyway, i love the MOD. Ever since I downloaded the light version, I've noticed greatly enhanced performance. And to tell you the truth I don't really miss all the added graphic stuff. Keep up the good work, and when the new patch is ready I'll be here to download it.

That's strange. You can redirect and connect fine? Maybe set uTorrents to XP Compatibility mod? I haven't played around with the new Windows 7 though, so it could be something with that.

LoR contains BUG. BUFFY is just BUG with additional code for HoF games. Before Phungus420 went in hiatus, the latest official release of BUG was 3.6, while BUFFY contains the SVN contents of BUG, which was just released as 4.0 a week ago. So, be patient and all the features in BUFFY will be in LoR.;)

AWESOME! This means that 99% of the time I spend playing Civ will be on LoR.

If you're urgent go back to page 58 and find my post with the attached zip file that contains a torrent of the 0.9.6b light version. For me it has been fully stable this far.

There's also a post by Phungus which says there's still the full download at the Moddb page. Whether or not this is still accurate (it was as of a few days ago), I do not know. I'm sure if you keep those pesky Vikings out of your game you should be fine with the full one.

Keeping them out of the game is hard with revolutions and all. SO if you do come across the full version of 0.96b on ModDB, paste these 4 entries in your ArtDefines_Units xml:

You can place them in front of the Lion entry if you want. As far as I can tell there is no more problems with them after putting these entries in.

So I went ahead and got the light version of the torrent on the last page (Cause I'm impatient ) and started a game. And it started out fine, but when I founded my capital it started slowing down, and then when it finally did start my capital had Islam and Buddhism already and a ton of "138"s where a religion would be.

Is this my computer? Or what? I was able to play two turns, but then the game crashed. Then I restarted the mod and it did the same thing, so I screened it this time.

So did I install it incorrectly or something? Or is it my computer? (I couldn't think of why though).
