And while I'm at it these bugs got buried, but are still extant.

AIAndy has already found the interaction between viewports (he posted earlier today) and the multi-feature mod which is causing the increased level of artifacts. He said he'd deal with it.
 
During my own turn when they auto move. I had the same problem a loong time ago when I was playing on a map with about 70% of water.

Try now with the latest SVN and let me know how you get on...

Yes, I pushed the fix for that some minutes ago.

I think the problem is that new tank that ls612 added. Either that or some code that was added when ls612 updated the tank stuff. Can someone please solve this problem so those mods can be turned back on?

I could solve it by removing the tank but I have no idea what is causing the issue. All of the XML seems fine to me. :confused:
 
Again all you needed to do was go back a few pages and see what your answer was the first time you asked, you just right click on the minidump and then "send to" put it into the ZIP when it asks

Is this a common problem? I'm kinda worried because I won't be able to play at all unless it's fixed.

Well it could be the tank model. I had a similar thing happen when I had a broken animal model for subdued animals.

EDIT: You could always test it by putting the default tank model in and then seeing if it gives the same problem.
 
I just stardted a new game too test the new viewports with a huge map and Pfw2 svn 3795

Viewports seems ok, but I'm in 36880 BC and I haven't seen any animal !!!

That likely means I made some mistake in the multi-threaded code for spawning.
Try deactivating that by setting USE_MULTIPLE_THREADS_SPAWNING to 0 in Assets/XML/A_New_Dawn_GlobalDefines.xml

I got two problems:
One is wrong unit graphics sometimes:
Stone maceman and below sometimes show in Egyptian garb, my stone spearman spends most of his time looking like a bronze spearman, and crocodiles only look like crocodiles ocasionally, most of their time they spent as knights.
I tried single unit grapics, and with and without viewports enabled, no change.

The other is the ciy radius overly markers( those placed with alt+x). Ever since I turned
viewports on I can´t place new ones, and the two I placed without viewports show always in the postion they had in the initial viewport, no matter how the landscape moves below them between viewports.

You have animations off. Turn them on and the problem goes away.
 
Need to know exactly which version it was you were using at the time too please.

On topic:
Most Recent SVN (rev 3798) shows a broken sevopedia and in addition resource display which doesn`t work.

In addition i got a global warming event 5.000 BC!! :eek:

There have been 20+ in the past few days and each one takes about 10 minutes to check, so I suggest you simply reproduce the problem in a version you DO know (since it's preventing you playing I presume it's consistent) and post the minidump from THAT along with the revision number.
