Great job Rhye, and I hope you have a happy retirement. Rhye's and Fall of Civ was the very first mod that I ever downloaded, and it was the main reason why I joined these forums. It allowed me to replay Civ III over and over again, and then it got me stuck with Civ4. After a while, it made me want to mod civ and create something amazing that mod. Now, a long chapter in the Civfanatics community has come to an end. Thanks Rhye, for motivating me to mod Civ4.

I think Ive found a bug

I have started the game as the Americans in both 3000 Unlock and 600 unlock and something goes horribly wrong. The only unit the Americans start with is a Catapult and it spawns in Antarctica they also don't start with any techs. Anyone else getting this problems?

Seems like you're not using last patch. First you have to completely delete RFC and redownload from first post and check if you are using correct version (maybe by mistake you load old one?).

Thank you for your work, Rhye. RFC has represented 90% of my Civ4 playing time and was what sold me to the game!

I think he stated no, this is the end of his modding in Civ 4.

Perhaps it is a steam-only problem, but upon loading the mod from within Civ4 the game crashes at the XML stage. I deleted the old folder (well, moved it to my desktop and renamed it) and copied the new one in. Yet I don't see anyone else posting a similar problem. Maybe I'm just dumb and missed a step somewhere but I can't think of which one.

Eternal thanks, I wasn't fond of the Civ3 version but this is simply the best computer game mod, period Time for me to update the epic/marathon version!

RoC for Civ3 was the first mod for any game I played and probably still the closest to my heart. Things only got better with RFC and its without a doubt my prefered Civ4 experience. Good luck in your future endeavors and all hail to the king of modding!

hopefully Rhye will be with us in Civ V. but right now im having a problem with the patch. when i started loading the game (after i selected this mod) it just never loaded. ive tried deleting my old version of rhye but i cant seem to find it.
