v22 bugs and crashes

Enabled or not, clicking on a unit or moving one causes an immediate ctd.

odd, that it fails so easily yet worked ok in m tests :( I'll look at it as soon as I'm able later today
 
I got CTD after latest SVN update. It happens when I got Shehe Mvita to construct Commercial Achievement. I checked for other constructs and got the same CTD. I attach savegame to check it out. The city of Heliopolis to be exact.

Edit: Actually the game after loading from the save is unplayable. I am getting CTDs even when choosing a new tech to research or browsing cities. I need to revert to play :(

After reverting one revision back everything works flawlessly... whatever was changed regarding memory leak and units seems to mess things up a bit. Rev 2440 is the problem. It seems to affect dealing with units.

[r2440] Tried to load my savegame with ENABLE_DYNAMIC_UNIT_ENTITIES =1 for test.

Unit models weren't shown (no pink/red things, just empty space), then I moved camera around, then ctd.

All units.

Ah, same with dyn. entities "0" (ctd too), just didnt test before.

What is the point of the Assimilation game option in C2C, since UB and UU are not defined by your civilization?

I just dont understand this comment, no offense to you, but this has come up now for about 15 times, its ONLY 1 unit and 1 building, that is so miniscule does it really matter, come on now:mischief: You still get all 20 -30 other units for that civ.:rolleyes:

The question was valid and Flinx answered it. Assimilation allows you to assimilate base culture.
 
Here's an example of the bug I mentioned in the SVN thread. In the save game, I have a Catapult and a War Galley. If I move the Catapult onto the War Galley, the Catapult is still active like it's waiting for orders (even though it has no movement left). Likewise, if I click on the War Galley to activate it, and press Space, the War Galley is still active. If I ALT-click on the War Galley, then it can skip its turn normally.

Most of this Techs name show up as TXT_KEY_TECH_xXXX in the Tech Tree and are absent from the Civolopedia.

Yes. Units are not visible and clicking or trying move causes CTD (both with variable 0 and 1)/
 
Here is an example of a pathing problem. I want the stack north of Memphis to go to the plot south east of Alexandria. If I do it I can get there in 3 turns but just clicking on the stack and clicking the destination causes a path of 7 turns.

Cannot no more start game (CTD after panel custom game -> launch game)
Game start initializazion, setup map, etc, but crash when end the procedures to prepare first turn
Please help!!!!

With assimilation you can get the other regional cultures.
Without you get nothing.
Oh, ok, so for instance if you are European, and if you capture a city of an African civilization, you could get African sub-cultures... I thought that was by default... The thing is that unlike in vanilla BTS, it allows you to build African sub-cultures in ALL your cities, not just the captured one. Perhaps the description of Assimilation should be changed to reflect that...
