VertNes-Worlds of Altor.

OOC: Shouldn't a god be able to make rats come in large numbers to a city?
Oh well... I guess getting followers would be better...

oh... of course... i was merely testing you.
As your master, i command you to assist me in a ritual that will give me all of your power.

Skep, assist me, and you may have him after.

The mage hops from one foot to another for awhile "Please master do not take the Gift from me. It would leave me defensless. Maybe my wand will buy my Gift I also have several potent poisons made up if you wish for those. Please? But of course if you will it it shall be done."

I will it. but in exchange for your faithful service, you may ask one boon, and i may grant it, unless i deem it unneccessary.

@ Erez Yes but you are dealing with the God of Chaos did you expect it to be easy. Also for game balancing reasons I had to make it insanely hard but you are a dragon so you could try again in a couple of hunderd years time. Maybe more detail than just gathering followers.

Thomas

"My boon is your staff. That is all I ask. No, no must not hurt master. No master run the voices have come back." A bolt of fire strikes the wall just above your heads. It was not strong but it would be strong enough had it hit.

OOC Thomas never panic a paranoid schizophreniac (?). They tend to be very unbalanced and dangerous if upset, which is what you just did. You made him too nervous and scared with your sudden appearence and demanding nature.

*looks at the gnome*

I don't know if I can stand for this any longer mage. This being is unpredictable; and though I do not wish to kill him, I may have no other choice unless we do this quickly.

I'll erect a rudimentary shield and try to calm him down.

Patience Skep... He'll be your soon enough

A shimmering shield bursts out from your fingers and divides the room in half between you and him. This effort barely used any energy at all. You estimate it can survive five hits. Your first attempt at calming him fails and only makes him more nervous. There is a loud bang and the mage collapses holding his charred hand. The blast is stopped by the shield but weakens it terriblely. You now have no idea how many hits it can take.

You get a small blast aimed at you. " Stupid, stupid people. The voices say you must die so you shall!" With these words the mage holds out both his hands and begins to speak fast in an ancient languge which Khyrdin and Thomas idenifiy as old Elvish or the Languge of Magic. You must act now or most likely die along with the mage and most of the nearby forest.

"HOLY SEVERN IN A HANDBASKET!!!!"
"Oh, erm... sorry I over-reacted... What's going on now? Oh right, crazy magic guy, soooo what are we gonna do about him, kill him, subdue, him, loot the tower.....?"
"OH I can't wait now!"
*Shoots arrows at the crazy guy.*

The humble advise of your mod would be not to tarry I will post the effect of the spell at 1.00 you have 32 minutes to stop him.

"I understand my master. I will prove myself worthy to lead your forces into this world and rip it a part."

Cjao finishes the meditation and gets up. He looks around to see if there is anything of interest in the area. When he see nothing living other then a few plants and bugs he spreads his wings and fly higher to look at thing from above. He is looking for a human village to pillage with his fire and chaos most likely existing capabilities (ooc: weaker then what I would wish they would be).

You get two brutal hits. The mage was wearing thread-bare robes so your flail goes straight through. His head cracks like an egg and his chest collaspes. He slumps to the ground dead as a dodo.

NWAG

Your practise was going very well buut then suddenly darkness surronded your mind as if someone had thrown a blanket over it. "Well, well Hakara I see you did not pay the attention you should have in divination classes. You forgot to shield and mask your mind so I found you. Spying for Tarkar I see really that will not do. Oh and thank you for telling me your location the Alvalon army had been struggling to find you but now they have. Soon I will have the backing of one of the richest kingdoms on the contient then we will see how your little rebellion fares. Good day to you." The presense leaves and snap out of the spell at once, you tell Tarkar what has happened and you flinch as he slaps you hard round the face " You idiot!". Crack! "Fool!" Crack! "Get out of my sight" Crack! You run back to your tent and make ready to move out.

Hakara decides to desert the army in secret, and take a series of measures until not only Takar, but the Magi don't know where he is (if he can). He doesn't mind them knowing he has left camp, though.

(He also practices his magic as he does so)

His plan (which he will attempt to conceal) is to try and cause a battle by manipulation without Men-hasar and the Magi noticing. Once the battle is over, he will raise a force of undead from the corpses and go off in secret.

Erez

You spy a human town in the jungle only twenty miles from where you are. Only ten miles further on is a smaller village, which would be easier to raid.

@ NWAG forgot to say but it was Dalius again foiling your plans.

You try to slip away but you have no chance the army is marching again and a man right at the very back catchs you. You are taken before Tarkar " Trying to chicken out hey. Well this is your mess and you are going to help me fix it." The order is given for you to be killed on sight if you try a similar trick. "Oh and boy magic won't help you. Almost all my soldiers were part of a army dedicatied to hunting magic users. They can see through most mind tricks and most of the officers are immune to magic." You get a couple of slaps round the face that knock you to the ground. Tarkar then punchs you hard it the stomach and has you taken away.

(i'm going to bind his his soul/fiezar to this room, as quickly as i can, and absorb his magic. Skep, when i'm done, drink away...)

Loot away.
