It was near the River Seine that a people, known as French, lived. They lacked organization and structure, but when the new king, dominus romae, was crowned after the death of his father, he promised that he would make this small people the most glorious empire in the known World. There would be rivals, however, inside and outside France. But he was prepared to achieve his goals at all cost. In the year of our lord of 4000BC, he ordered the French tribe to settle down near the Seine river. It was the beginning of a new age.

- Alpine Troops defense decreased to 4.
- Monarchy and Communism unit support increased to 5.
Civ Version: Civ Classic version, no patches.
Civ restarts are OFF
Randomized Starting Locations are OFF
