My objective for the early part of this term is to upgrade our planning process from a turn at a time to some kind of multi-turn strategy. We need to exploit our agricultural trait to rebuild our population and once again approach the point of being the population leaders. We have made strategic choices of building a granary to have a true settler pump, and curraghs to find the other teams. Given we have not seen any other boats, we may be the only team to have worked that way.

With the help of the Foreign Affairs Consul, we need to acquire the military technologies needed for survival, and build up our forces for inevitable conflict. Once we and MIA both have harbors, we can trade luxuries.

The game is not over for us, not by a long shot. If our enemies choose to take a straight military path, we only need to survive the initial onslaught after which our superior infrastructure will turn the tide.
 
We are nearly half way through the elections and we only have 7 voters so far (out of 24 doughnutians, i checked). Come on Doughnutians, we need you all to be more active. Our nation needs everyones ideas to hold TNT at bay and flourish. So get involved vote and post your ideas.
 
I'm putting in my vote for Daveshack. He did a great job in Demogame VI, and he's doing a great job now.
