Tashkent: Cats do their job; Horse kills Aztec Sword.

Army kills 3 Egyptian Archers, and we can get peace and 100gp; take a discount on Construction instead (cost us 256gp). One less enemy makes peace with Russia and Vikings close.

Bishbalik has happiness problems, and not enough improved tiles to work; switched to a Settler for the Gems.
Kill Aztec Spear and Sword at Khanbalik.

Viking Warrior impales on the Walls of Tashkent.

Kill another Viking Warrior, still no straight peace.
Kill 2 Spears at Aachen, reg Archer left.
Army kills 1 Aztec Sword at Khanbalik

Quite lucky, 4 Aztec Swords and 2 Archers only manage to kill the Elite Spear at Khanbalik, even a Horse defends successfully against a Sword.
Turn 7: 10BC
Elite Horse kills redlined Aztec Sword at Khanbalik, and we get a MGL! Think Ill use him to rush the Heroic Epic in Tashkent, this is the one city we cannot afford to loose to a flip to Celts (because of the Horses). And it has some useful tiles after expansion.
Make peace with Monty, discount on CoL; would cost 190 from Celts, 115 from Monty, but I hire lots of Taxmen to get a positive income, and get it for 6gpt and 7gp.
Autoraze Aachen, get two Slaves there.
Ok, we do not benefit from continuing the war against Germany as long as we have no Settlers at hand to claim their territory; were only making Cleo a big present that way, especially since she lacks Horses so far. Make peace for his 5gp.
This also allows peace with Russia; swap Construction for Literature (useless for us, but Germany lacks it; small chance we can get something for it in a trade). Hey, Russia gets Engineering; unknown so far. That gives me an idea:
I gift Germany into MA, and Otto gets Engineering as well
get it for Monarchy, Literature and 135gp.
Get Mono from Egypt for Engineering and 130gp.
Can get peace and 20gp from Ragnar or, since he lacks Mono and Eng, I can get Feudalism and 117gp for Mono and Eng. Make that deal, of course.
Eng to Celts for 575gp. Mono to Germany for 130gp.
Net: 3 expensive Techs and Literature, 727gp for nothing

Set research to Chivalry; anything but minimum is pointless, though.
Switch our 3 best cities to Markets, and start some Settlers.

Scratch the idea with the HE, I better rush the FP in Tashkent Team call!
Pro:
*The sooner, the better.
*City has good shield potential, and our Horses.
*City is nearly optimally placed; 3rd ring, main expansion direction.
Contra:
*City is under slight cultural pressure from the Celts; but IMHO we should be all means whack them ASAP again anyway. Current risk is 0.024%, 6 units required; no problem, wed need 3 MPs anyway.
