VRA-01 ~ The Masters.

Moving the palace...Not something I would have done, but, he has a point.

Okay, here's my list of comments...

We have a GP. For the sake of our economy, and future relations, we need to build the Hindu Shrine, and missionary spam.

We're moving the Palace to run Bureaucracy which would give us quite a hammer/coin boost if in Boston.

We seem to be at war with Shaka, and it seems to be going well. As soon as we get control of the stone, start up Sankore in Boston under Bureaucracy.

WTH are we giving Kublai the resources with which to kill us!?! Please cancel that deal at once before he builds any Axemen.

We need to spread Hindusim, but we can have othes build our infra while NY, Washington and Turfan build Maces and Cats. We don't need Elephants, were not facing horses. Please change the build to a Maceman...

We're facing whatever he chooses to toss at us...that said he probably has a Keshek preferance.

As for chopping palace Not really...we only need to have palace ready when stone comes to our control in about 10 turns or so (capture/rioting)...so, we can afford to let Boston grow and build palace, and save wood for Sankore.

Btw, something I've noticed. the AI will never use a bow unit to a) capture a city b) attack a unit unless it's severely weakened or much weaker. So, feel free not to leave anymore than minimal garrisons (or none at all).

Deer is improved in Philadelphia, so micromanage this ...

Also Washington no longer needs running Great Merchants ...

And we should choose city for producing Angkor Wat ...

BTW. Micromanagment is needed at all. We should prioritize food, cause our cities are small.

edit: I wonder if Ramses has the Stone

I would bet Money Ramses has stone. He's putting out stone wonders at an amazing rate.

To add to the list...a look at our civics causes me to tremble, tremeble, tremble, where you ther- ahem.

Yeah...We need to revolt to Organized Religion and Slavery as we'll need to whip courthouses and rebuild generally, and we can't afford a troop build up with Pacifism. Its costing us an arm and a leg.

A final note, Turfan needs to work that farm, instead of the cottage.

Well, I came up with a ridiculous plan, forgot it was my turn to play taxi for the offspring and never posted it. I did play 11. Shaka is on his last legs and the SOD has gathered. We're at war with Kublai, Nappy and Shaka.

I didn't wanna revolt during war so I've kept with caste. The economy will need major work.

I think we still have the paper monopoly. Boston has the palace.

Kublai declared on the inherited turn. Haven't seen a single one of his troops. New Serai popped a border so we need to take that city before making peace. There's a mini stack building out of NY.

We met Nappy. He declared 2 turns later. :crazyeye: Haven't seen a single frenchman.

We're very thin on the Khan's border.

With regard to Shaka, I think we take is capital, and then vassalize him. Let him pay for the snow cities to the south.

All for going back to the whip.

I took two more of Shaka's cities.

I usually play HOF rules, so I'm not up on timing of grabbing vassals. that's why I stopped. I didn't want Shaka capitulating to Monte and having a big mess.

I'll try to get some screenies up later.

I did build our shrine. We need to get some missionaries out.

Good things:
* war is going well
* Education is in progress

Bad things:
* our cities are small, we cannot afford to maintaing big army - we need to delete all warriors and some axes, stop producing units, prioritize food
* Paper was sold before Sankore was in progress - we need to adopt Beaurocracy, but stay in Pacifism. While the maintanance is killing us, but still lightbulbing will save us, Washington will provide us with some GP. We need to set now some scientists in Boston to lightbulb Education rather sooner than later

Other things:
* Do not get Theology while it opens way to Divine Right, we'd rather want lightbulb Liberalism if GA is produced in Washington
* prepare for chopping UoS in Boston

If ya'll don't mind, I'd like to swap with Sansam. I'll be a bit busy for the next week, and the comp is bellyaching a bit, so I'm hoping to take a go today.

Thanks for cleaning up my mess. I may have gone a little overboard on the cats. :mischief:

Anyone understand why we haven't seen a single unit of Kublai's?

@vra

I read your openning post in this thread. And I think that the civ, who exterminate all other civs, wins the game, while about land and population only final state matters. I mean if you control 100% land in 2050AD, you get 100 points. Am I correct?

That would be correct Giaur. BUT, we don't hold the tech lead, and that could be difficult to pull off. And, my humblest apologies. I contracted bronchitis and this is prime universtiy paper season. It's been fairly miserable. Anyway, time to get the ship moving again...wil report in a but. Twas' a curious turnset.

Sorry for the delay. In anycase, I'm proud to report we have allies...Unwilling allies, but I have a feeling Shaka isn't skipping out on us anytime soon.

Here's what happened...

-> We got Sankore with the GE that popped. We need Hindu religious buidlings everywhere.
-> Kublai captured Ning-hisa, and razed the stone city and gave me hell all turnset. That is until my counterattack sent him back to the western stronghold. Oh, his other city is the Taoism holy city.
-> After we captured Ulundi, Shaka decided he'd be pals. Vassal pals that is.
-> It seems the other continent is reachable by galley has Nappy tried to do some invading...I eradicated his "army" rather fast.
-> We are anywhere from two to three techs behind most civs.
-> Ramsess took Liberalism...

I'm thinking an exconomic recovery program, and the FP and the Globe in Ulundi, so we can whip if we need.

Finally, our victory page...decisions, decsions. We're second here - barely.
