I experience some strange behavior in the allocation of Wonder-benifits. For example, I have build the Pyramids and Leonardo's workshop.

Pyramids: Granary for every city of your civ on same continent
LWshop: 50% less costs in upgrading (great one this!)

BUT: well, I got some cities ON THE SAME CONTINENT who don't have a Granary!
AND: Some cities charge a higher price (oddly enough, 25% more, not 50%) than others.

Anyone seen this?

On the Pyramid issue, the ol' Pyramids don't actually put a granary in each city, it merely makes the cities behave as if they had one. Are you sure your not seeing granary benefits in those cities?

Re Leo's, you'd expect the expensive cities to charge, if anything, 100% more than the discount ones. Otherwise, no idea.

Perhaps Leo went on a vacation.

On the Granary: there should be a Granary icon, but the effect will only come once the food thing has been filled once

What I noticed is that sometimes it takes a few turns for the wonder's effect to kick in for some cities. Perhaps wait a few turns and then check?

Or I believe if anything else causes a change in population, disease, worker/settlers produced or added to city.

Edited to add this was post number 300 for me.

Killer is right. The city screen will show a granary under improvements. I also would like to see a save game if you have one Jade.

I'm guessing this only happens when a city has a population of 6? IIRC, there was an exploit before that allowed a player to build a continual stream of Workers without lowering the city's population, since the Granary created a new citizen in the same amount of time. The exploit was plugged by removing the Granary for that particular turn.

Times I have had things like Pyramids or Sun Tzu, the city zooom screen shows a Granary or Baracks icon in the improvement list.

New cities or captured ones get the icons too.

BUT the unruly mob can detroy either or both. Could that be the cause? Could be a map issue or bug where a thin land bridge makes the game think a portion is not continental.

I've never noticed upgrade prices varying. Maybe a continental thing also?

I too have had the Pyramids and Hoover Dam and still been able to build extra granaries and dams. weird!
