Warhammer Fantasy Mod 2.0

according to the readme in the 1.03 patch it says there is a 1.10 patch for conquest .. where can i find it
 
i used the 1.03 version for now once your 1.10 conquest version comes out how easy is it to change from that
 
There is annoucement on the first page regarding 1.1 version, it's not ready yet. I mentioned it since it will come soon (just got C3C). No worries about switching to it, It will be 5-6 MB update working with any previous version.
 
ya you're right wh - mod with conquest is jumbled and i cant start ptw unless i use the ptw cd rom anyhow i will be waiting for the patch
 
Hey when I try to go to the Website to read the rules, nothings comes up. Same if I try to download the big download. I am lazy, have Boardband and Don't have thoughs Win things.

Sorry the site is down again because of bandwidth limit exceeded (too much downloads). Either download the mod in two parts (that's just 2 instead of 1, it won't hurt ;) ) or wait a couple of days - the bandwidth limit is renewed at the beginning of each month, so I've been told.
 
you must be in australia or somewhere because here in the usa i dont know of any isp 's who have d/l limits

You completly misunderstood two concepts. It's not ISP, but a web hosting service, and I beieve it's actually in the US (it's CDG). There is no hosting service in the world, that will give you truly unlimited bandwidth. Actually bandwidth is the most expensive thing in the whole hosting bussiness. Just check any random hosting plans in the US to see for youself ;)

I'll post the Conquest update on Dec. 1st., when the site gets up.
 
I broke down and download both part and a Shareware verison of WinRAR. Anyway I never bought PTW because I am not a big MP player and a couple of friends had big problems with it. So when Conquest came out I bought it because I want something new of CIV 3. Anyway, I think I put everything where it belongs. But I am having problem with the 140X140 map everytime I try loading it I get a missing file. For Deforest tech. I seem to be able to play Random maps ok.

Anyway I just want to say thank you this is a great mod. I can't wait to see what is next.

Which versions do you have (update and the map)? You loading with the PTW (the conquests PTW) right? The deforest tech icon is the same for both random mod and 140 map.
 
Yes downloaded the updated maps. Maybe I am putting them in the wrong spot. And yes I am using PTW to lauch.
 
But what version I ask? Of the mod and your last update. As for the spot, all mod/scenario/map files (.bix) should be in CIV3PTW/Scenarios folder.
 
First of all, I love your mod! I keep on getting exited on how brilliant you have used all the features to create the fantasy mod. I especially loved the skeletons! (costs no shields but one populaton)

Anyway, I was wondering if you will add Skaven and Lizardmen to your mod. I understand that it is a lot of work, but I think it would be an extremely cool adition! Just think of the Slaann Priests.. *drool*

Skaven - not likely
Lizardmen - very likely in 2.0 version (there are 2 people working on Lizardmen units right now, including a Slann Mage Priest)
I have plans to add more civs in 2.0 ie. Amazons, Ungols, Ind and maybe Westerland.

C3C version will be available in 2 days, while 2.0 version with new civs, tech tree etc. will come no sooner than in a month.
 
First, congratulation for your excellent work on this mod... honestly it's the best mod i've played for Civ3, with Double your pleasure close by ;). Yours has the advantage of making the game really different from the original, with lots of custom units for every faction.

Secondo, I would like to know if your mods are as fully playable as original game in multiplayer ? (if you can consider Civ3 as a playable multiplayer game...) Are there issues about a mod that would affect playability in multiplay ?

Lastly, is there gonna be big differences in 1.1, or we'll have to wait for 2.0 for new factions ? 1.1 and up will be for CivIII:Conquests only ?

The mod is fully playable in multiplayer, though you must remember to turn "civ-specific abilities" to ON (in PTW multiplayer it defaults to OFF).
All future versions will be for Conquests only. 1.1 has all the new features like enslavement (cultists, necromancers, vampires), stealth attack (assasins, ninja), new specialists (guard, engineer), some new units, plagues, sacrifices, collateral damage etc.
