[BTS] Warhammer FB Version 1.5

Quite right, leave the "falling" to the FFH lads, I don't want to end up with Sigma or Orion worshiping chaos. Though cults disrupting your empire form within should be just as much of a threat as the armys without and could balance the weaker alliances of the bad guys.

Rabble rousing and disorder on the streets seams a bit unsophisticated for elves though, maybe instead cults manifest themselves as luxury (increased maintenance) and courtly intrigue (random civic switches?).

And what about the Dwarfs? there’s no background of any Western Dwath ever worshiping chaos is there? maybe instead the more Chaos there is in the world the more isolationist, traditionalist and grumpy they become?
 
Also I’m slowly working on small mod based on yours ( I actually found out about yours before I knew of FFH which would have suited the purpose better but it to far to go back now) and need to know if there’s any XML way to stop the race-religions thing.
 
Just one thing... when a wonder is destroyed.... is it then buildable again? O.ô

no.... this is a core part of how Wonders work in the civ engine. We're not changing core mechanics like that, there's no reason to. If you miss a wonder and you want it, capture the city its in, don't raze it.
 
I suppose I'm looking to just make the religions work like in normal Civ then, do you think something as cruid as renaming them all so python has nothing to refur to will work?
p.s. I'm hoping to contridute some flaver events to your mod eventualy.

i tried this map/scen with this version 2 times and both games had same crash to desktop around same timeframe in game (unfortunately, do not have 1st save so not sure if on exact same game turn or not).

after starting the game, open worldbuilder and remove the flames grafics from the map.
they are the most likely cause of the game crashing.

I doubt it's the flame graphics as the games are going to appoximately 1850 so lasting for hundreds of turns before crashing. but both games i tried crashed to desktop around the same date as the saved game. (maybe on same date but not sure since i dont have original save)

there is actually a bug with one of the maps flames which causes a CTD immediately on vista machines (so green eyes was right in mentioning that ;)). but if your talking about a CTD very late into the game well need much more specific information of what happened.

i posted up the save game if that helps (in original post). it is happening after pressing play during AI processing. doesn't matter what (if any) orders i give my guys before turn process. Crash to desktop. I tried the game map 2 times and both times same behavior around the same turn - 1850ish.

i'd be happy to provide more details if anything can help.
 
I am not getting any graphics for hamlet town, is this a bug or my install. There is also some xml marsh something or other each startup that I have to acknowlege before it will continue to load.

The marsh thing is known. Never seen missing town graphics (except for Wood Elves, and I think there are some mising things for some of the undead factions) - which civ are you playing as?

Bad time for the woodelves and their tree-wonders =P
 
Yes, if the Elves lose their capital (after building their Tower wonder) they have to recapture it in order to make mages and such. What is wrong with that?

If it gets razed, you're in trouble.... but if you can't even protect your capital?
 
Oh, yeah if its just the cottages in jungle or forest, that graphic can get messed up. Old FFH issue.
