Which is why i will leave some lines empty, since they show up when the mouse cursor moves over them. The mods can still close this if they feel that it is too sensitive.
This is an article about sibling incest, which i found interesting:
http://www.bmi.net/jgp/USI.htm
The literature on taboo's, with incest being the most important of them, and its foundation, is full of observations about the biological reasons for the fear of incest (offspring of families that impregranted their members had weaker immunal systems, and so they had more often illnesses than offsprings of families which had sexual relationships with non relatives, and so incest inevitably would be seen as evil/demonic etc -- note that this is just a comment about the ethical part of it, and not of the specifics of a case of incest, which ussually is traumatic) and of the psychological effects of it.
The article writer makes three categorizations of incest:
1. incest between siblings wich are close in age and intelligence (although it doesnt mention specific ages it definately means considerably less than 5 years of difference). This is labeled "explorative".
2. exploitive incest, where the older sibling has a bigger age by far (still less than 5 years though) and/or is clearly more powerfull in the family,
3. abusive, where the older sibling is 5 years older or more, and naturally is stronger in all respects.
A very sensitive subject, sibling incest takes place mostly in dysfunctional families, for a multitude of reasons, but it is not to be linked to parent-child incest, which has different characteristics.
I would like to ask if you have ever thought about this topic, and if so what is your view about it?
