Sure. But my point is that I can make a fairly good educated guess about Toms' existing in Australia. It would be based on existence I have on hand:

1. Tom's exist in Canada
2. There are humans in Australia
3. There are Christians in Australia
4. Tom is a Christian name

I can make a similar guess about intelligent life existing elsewhere in the Universe. A guess based on evidence.

A guess about God is pure speculation and isn't based on anything.. It goes more like:

1. ?
2. God
