[We the People] Bug reporting

WtP 4.2 pr: Loopy sound, no unit cycling bug after end turn (correlates with the Scout FF in my experience form previous games).
Also, I am getting Barbarian units spawning from goodie huts / camps with seasoned scouts.

Hi and thanks for continuing great work!
Tried 4.2 prerelease and found some issues:
1. No tax increase in more than 100 turns
2. freeze when clicking on internal screen
Save included

4.2-pr: French-Indian War: If you declare war on your new Indian "ally", the game crashes.
"I need to figure out what to work on next" me 7 minutes ago. I fear your mindreading abilities :run:

EDIT: found the bug. If you declare war on somebody with a defensive pact, that pact will force you to declare war on yourself. This seems to trigger you conquering your enemy's cities (your own) and by doing that... stuff happens, which eventually results in trying to move a NULL unit, which in turn crashes the game.

On develop the new movement system is broken. When you hold right click to move it will show you a good path, but when you let go it will take a slow path.

Treasure shows correct path.

But moves on to hill costing 3, so is at -2 and will be stuck there :(

Hi

<iLearningByDoingFreeModifier>0</iLearningByDoingFreeModifier>

I think this 0 (zero) value should be 10 (ten) on \Assets\XML\Civilizations\CIV4TraitInfos.xml file for

<Type>TRAIT_INDUSTRIOUS</Type>
<Type>TRAIT_PIONEER</Type>

entries to properly give "+10% chance of learning specialization by hardwork" bonus.

No problem on
<Type>TRAIT_TOLERANT</Type>
entry thou.

I like this mod very much. I wouldnt even bother to play the vanilla game if no WTP (and TAC and R&R) at all. Thanks for creating and still maintaining it.

No ... you misunderstood the XML tag.

<iLearningByDoingFreeModifier>
--> This is for a chance increase of an Indentured Servant or Slaves becoming a Free Colonist by Hard Work.

Neither Industrious nor Pioneer Traits should allow Indentureds or Slaves to become Free Colonists faster.
But the Tolerant Trait indeed should allow Indentureds or Slaves to become free faster.

In other words:
False bug report (due to misunderstanding the XML)
Everything is correct related to that tag.

Hey,
During the independence war I got an event "your king thinks your ships aren't protected well enough, pay 3k gold to get royal frigate".

E: Sorry, that was on WtP 4.1, not sure if it was reported/fixed since.

In 4.2.1 tax is still not increasing in 252 turns. What can be an issue?
Also such an exception take place each turn:

Hi!

Playing with Portugal, I declare war on Sweden. I conquered one of their colonies and atack another one. This one, maybe because it was smaller, it was automatically destroyed - it didn't ask me if I wanted to capture or destroy it. Is this normal?

After that turn, I see that there is an automatically signed peace treaty without my consent. Is it possible?
Is it the King doing it? Is it a bug?
In other game, I have seen that I signed a peace treaty without my consent with several natives tribes. I thought it was a bug but it didn't affect that much the game. But this one, with an european country, is strange...
I attach the save file, where you can see that when the turn ends, it will sign the peace treaty automatically in the beggining of the next turn...

Thank you!

Did you acquire a founding father right before the peace treaty came in force?

There are several that have this kind of "ability".

Thanks for your help XSamatan!
But just before the peace treaty, I acquire Johann Moritz, which according to his description isn't suppose to establish peace with European leaders... I still have no clue why it happen...

Bugged event, how do I get it fixed?

I'm getting the exact same traceback occuring in my game, did you ever find how to make it stop?
If you mean tax increase the answer is not. I tried to look on code by myself, but due to lack of competence in coding and debugging have no idea what to change😀
Bug with volcano is fixed in develop branch in github. More info on discord, Nightinggale is always online there
