Welcome here

I mentioned elsewhere but dh's post reminds me now to mention here more pointedly that starting this week (as in three days ago) I will not be around very much. I have started my year of civillian service, which I am doing in the Tel-Aviv Medical Center, and on weekdays I live in an apartment for civillian service guys in Holon. So far I haven't moved my computer there and I won't move it there until I can get internet there, which may happen but not in the next couple of weeks (because me and the rest of the guys would have to organize it and pay for it ourselves which we may just be inclined to do.) So I won't be playing the mod very often (maybe a few hours here and there on weekends that I spend at home) and I won't be posting as often as I'd like... I'll still try to stay on top of things here...

Hi guys, I missed you all quite a bit :D. I am finally back on my feet after more than a month of stress. From my computer crashing and not having connection to having some minor problems with CFC et al :). Anyway, it's not worth talking about that, to those of you who speculated my death :crazyeye: , here I am alive :lol: .

I look forward to returning to the forum, no worries about the assets, all is ready and the mod should be released soon after it has been bug-tested.

I never did figure out how to get the darn cds to install onto my desktop. However, I did manage to aquire an illicit copy that does indeed perform!

So, I'm around again. Just wanted to say hi, and I'll get up to date and start posting lame ass ideas to bug Blas and Rhye XD

@Rhye: I been playing Civ for YEEEARS. Dove eri? Thank you for your work in making Civ so much more fun (I started playing RFC a month ago - can't believe I never found out about this mod universe till now)

You say you played civ for years - did you play Rhye's of Civ for civ3 too?

Nope. As I said, I only just found out that you guys existed about a month ago.
Playing with mods, specifically yours, NOW that I've been a Civ addict for a decade or so, it's like learning that you need to release the hand brakes on your Ferrari when you been driving in an Autobahn...

Hello, all! I've been a lurker on this forum for a while, and really enjoy Rhye's mod. I think I've learned enough and played enough to join the community now (though I realize I came a bit late, just as the mod is winding down). Played Civ3 (nor RoC/RoCX though), and I hate it now that I know Civ4 (especially with RFC!). Hrm, I guess I should do a little intro as well.

I started playing Civ when I was 11 on a Power Macintosh 7200. I played Civ2 and did a light bit of scenario building for that. I generally missed out on Civ3 due to my interests changing and nearly had a repeat for Civ4. The difference is that I checked out the mods for Civ4 and fell in love with the game again.

Other than that, 22, male, works 45-50 hours a week, loves sudoku, trance, acid jazz, hardcore and partying.:cheers:

Anecdote: I gave a chicken a piece of fried chicken a long time ago. Those unchanging beady eyes said nothing but "Delicious, gimme more!" after it happily chomped up the piece of meat.
