Hello All!

While I have lurked here before, and have been playing since CIV3, I have some specific questions (finally), and have come here to see what I can find out.
Don't know how much I'll post, since this is a hobby, and not a full-time gig (where do some of you find the time/patience?), but . . .we'll see.

Hello Everyone,

My username is cyrusofpersia and I've been playing Civilization for a few months now. I currently own The Complete Edition, and play on Chieftain and Warlord difficulty levels. My favorite rulers are Cyrus and Caesar, and I usually win military victories. In my opinion Civilization is one of the best PC games ever produced!

Actually, been busy playing Civ3 complete v1.22 every single day. I miss the original game, loved civ2, find 3 a tad better, and can't play 4 cos my pc doesn't have the mojo.
After reading much here, I must have a quirky style. I haven't done a mod, altho I played the stuff in the "conquests" and in the "content" sections. Great work by the various authors, btw.
So here are my quirks: I don't believe in a fair fight. Ever. So I'll play at the two lowest/easiest levels. I like to pick out the weakest enemy, set him up on a one tile island and then conquer the rest of the world. I don't trade except for maps and maybe luxuries to keep my people happy. I could care less about reputation (gamewise) just total domination! I have my own personal bests - largest city, high score ( regular & victory ) quickest to future tech and a few others, which I try to meet or exceed in each game.
Well there you have it. Going off to finish another exciting game!

Hi, yeah, so ive been playing Civ 4 for half a year, and, well, its Great! ive never had the pleasure of playing any others in the Series, so i suppose im some what of a noob. i play on noble, and i started modding original civ 4 a few weeks ago, and im wracking my brain trying to get my Bts mod to work, as im sure alot of new modders do that all the time.

I have been CIVing since CIV (I, but no number as it was the first) way back on 386PC. I am a solo player and I want to thank all the MOD makers. As I have only dial-up internet, Hey I said I'm in the boonies, I will reluctantly not be buying CIV V.

Hello. I signed up because I had just wasted about half an hour of my life reading all 28-odd pages of that nuts anti-Steam thread. Figured if I replied, at least I could feel like there was some small aspect of it which was worthwhile.

I don't really feel any better, FYI.

Im new here, though not new to civ itself. I have c3c and have had it for a long time. I find this sight very usefull but I am having difficulty getting the mods. They are very confusing, even with the tutorials. If anyone can help me, that would be great!
