Hello everyone, I'm not exactly new here since I have been going on these forums for several years looking for information and mods. Only now, I've decided to break free from my anti-social mold and post just a simple "hello" to everyone. I really want to thank you all here for the contributions you've made in making Civfanatics thee greatest source for all civ games.
 
Hi, I everyone. I am a huge FFH2 fan and have played it for years now.
I registered because I made a Games of Throne Szenario for FFH2. I and my friends like it a lot and we play it a lot. I would like to share it with other people, but I have problems to upload it into the right place. Maybe someone can help me.
 
Hello, I've been playing Civ IV since I was 12 years old. :smug:
I am now 18, and have never really got over my addiction to this complex game. I just recently (about 1 year ago) discovered Epic and Marathon mode. Simply amazing. I hope to learn from this community, which seemly matches my love for the game.

I tried Civ V, but was highly disappointed. Oh well, rock-on Civ IV players, rock on.
 
Hello everyone! Thanks to the advice on this forum I've been able to step-up and defeat the AI on diety in Civ V vanilla. Thanks for all the help!
 
Hi all! I just got into the series with Civilization V: Gods and Kings and I think I'm hooked for life. Looking forward to the new expansion and all the new strategies that go along with it.

Hello All - just purchased Conquests addition (But long time player of Civ III), I have a question. In the vanilla version you used to be able to modify the years per turn (I thought) is that still possible? My biggest pive in Civ is that the time goes by so (early on at least) I would love to be able to set this to 5 yr/turn.

I've been downloading Civ II modifications from Civfanatics since 2001 (or so-ish), but I hadn't registered for the forums until today. Lurkers of the world unite (but no one say anything!)
 
Eh up lil ole ladies

I am an ageing ( ok aged ) ex amiga civ player, just rediscovering Gods and Kings and loving every second of it, my wife wonders where i disappear to now im shouting at the screen ' come on artillery ' and the like.
 
I am a fairly new member but somewhat shy. I played Civilization Revolution on my XBox for years and it is the longest played I have played on that console by far (and the first one I ever bothered to get all the achievements for). I have wanted Civ 5 since it came out but had an ages old computer that couldn't play it. I now have a new computer and bought the Gold edition and have played it about 7 hours am having a blast!

I have already found answers for a couple small questions here on the forums...thank you community for the great forum...I have found it pretty intuitive and well organized. :goodjob: I expect to be in the beginners section for a bit yet as I am still figuring thigs out but I imagine I will be turning into a post ho before too long!
