hello !! I'm an italian player of Civ (since the first and it's been the first game i've played on PC !!!) .
I'm 45 years old , I' m a therapist and I leave near Varese (40 Km near Milano) in a littleplace : Vedano Olona .
I like rts game (total war) and simulation (football manager) and strategic like europa universalis , hearts of iron .
RPG is also my favourite , Baldur's gate my best of ever !! , neverwinter etc...
never play in Multy , I decided to prove the first time with CIV 4 and it's fantastic !!
I find new players in this forum to Play in MP on game spy !

Hello all,
I recently starting playin CivIV in anticipation of CivRev for the 360 and have been hooked ever since. I played the CivRev demo for about 5 hours straight and went and reserved a copy at my local GameStop that evening. I then bought CivIV and have been playing ever since.

I'm a 35-yr-old father of six and have been married to my best friend for 13 years. We are a gaming family, owning XBOX 360, 3 Nintendo DS and Wii, plus 2 PS2s and a GameCube. I play all sorts of games, but I especially enjoy stragedy games.

Hello everyone,this is my 1st post and i would like to say how impressed i am with this forum and the way it is conducted...pleasant change!! Being fairly new to this wonderful world that Sid Meier and his team have created,i have a million questions , most of which will be answered here or in my own gameplay.There is one thing though......... i have noticed that there is very little said about "open borders".my gut feeling is that this can be a pivotal facet of Civ1v game play.......any comments?

How's it goin everybody? I've been an avid user of this site for the past year or so, ever since I bought Civ III. I never played the first two Civ titles, but its ok because Civ III was everything I had ever wanted in a computer game! It was by far the most addicting game I have ever played in my life, and each game I learned more and more about how to play this game the right way. The strategies I learned on this forum were priceless and really helped elevate my playing to another level.
Then I entered a new stage in my Civ career by finally getting Civ IV about 3 weeks ago. It took me a while to adjust to the new graphical approach, but I am a fan of it now. As for the rest of the game, all I can say is "WOW!" It's truly an amazing game. I love Civ III dearly, but there is so much more depth in Civ IV... it really takes a while to take it all in. I'm currently on my second game, and am playing as India with Gandhi. I'm going for the 3-City Cultural Victory, and I'm pretty sure things are going VERY WELL right now. My top 3 cities are the overall top 3 cities in the world... and it's a landslide. Fun times
Anyway, just wanted to say hi to everyone. Keep on Civ-ing!

I'm new to this community. So....hello. My question is as follows. My game manual for Civ IV Complete is in Thai. Can anyone send me a facsimile in English? I really don't want to have to take an entire foreign language class in order to understand the ins and outs of my new game. Or possibly send me a link to a place where they have downloadable user's manuals? Thanks
