In Civ IV, there was seZereth's new Werewolf...

Everyone thought it was gone, and believed that they were once again safe in the woods. But....it's baaaaaaack!!!

Just like its predecessor, the Civ V conversion is still based on Aztec Jaguar animations...and still hungry!

Sheesh, take it easy.
BTW I have an elf pack coming up, so please leave elves for me;).

Lol, noted - will do! Saves me the trouble and besides - I prefer monsters ;)

I may be able to help you with an elf wolfrider though, since I already have the template made. Just let me know.

Also, could I request that you attach the claws from the civ4 werewolves to this monster?

Alas, seZereth's .nif file was corrupted so I had to rebuild this baby from scratch! I learned the hard way how difficult it was to stretch a wolf over an Aztec Jaguar skin without making it move all funky. Fortunately the hands aren't very visible unless the unit scale is really large. If I have time though, I will build some claws for it.

Lycaaaans !!! i fear its full moon tonight ... lol

thank you ! i love werewolves since the underworld movies.

@Nomad: You can export the claws as OBJs from NIFSkope and then attach them to the wolf, I was actually working on this guy for a while myself until I realized WHFB doesn't need werewolves for some reason.

Very nice Nomad. One small point is that because Civ 5 units have no transparency for the texture alpha channel the wolf's neck fur will appear black in game. I doubt that will bother too many people though. It's something to bear in mind when converting units that use a lot of alpha. The Griffon's wings and the Zombie's trousers I edited the mesh to kind of match the effect of the alpha in the texture.

Excellent info, Deliverator! I was wondering why I couldn't get the alpha mapping to show transparent in my units. That explains why - so now I don't have to be confused about that any more! I've got enough crazy stuff rattling around in my noggin as it is! :crazyeye:

That really bugs me, although fortunately it's not too noticeable on the Eagle Rider. Civ4 unit makers had it easy making good models, but if they had to remove base game units to use them I suppose we can live with that.
