What are your thoughts on BitCoin?

I've started mining a bit, passively, its a routine that runs in the background while I'm watching videos and uploading stuff.
Got a question, do you guys think 40% constant CPU usage is bad for my computer? Never really goes above 40% CPU usage.

How long until it spits u a token?

Infinity + 3 weeks. Honestly, this is just a pet project, not really intended for making money, it depends on how fast your CPU is(passive browser mining does not harness GPU sadly), on my Laptop which is this one:
https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B01NBUH1HO/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o09_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1

I get about 38h/second running at about 35-40% CPU. its probably like 25 cents a day or something, which is more than electricity where I am.

Still looking for a Legit WIndows App that using the CPU and GPU for Mining Litecoins or Dogecoins. Its fine if they have a 25% or 30% cut if they can utilize my GPU right.

Hmmh, you're making me think. My dad's been mining (with both his computers and external devices) for a little over two years now and has made a total of 3 btc. I have a powerhouse of a PC in my old room in my parents house that is never being used at all, maybe transforming that into a mining machine would make sense.

If you come across any ways to mine Litecoin lmk please :) I realize I'm probably far too late now, I just want to have some fun on coinbase to be honest.

Can you get anything more than a few cents from mining bitcoins with a normal computer now that there are circuits and racks specifically made for that?

Mining ethereum, litecoin and other altcoins is most efficiently done with gpus, which can also be used for gaming or deep learning training.

I thought about the idea of starting a VR cafe where the computers mine ethereum when not used. The business plan would certainly have enough buzzwords to get investors interested.

Bitcoin at least taught me one thing: the world is doomed, mankind is hopeless. It will keep wasting resources until the planet becomes unable to support it.

It took you that long to figure it out?:mischief:

Hell, man, I just finished an essay where I analyzed essays from Turgot, Ferguson, Rousseau, and Helvétius in which they were saying as much back in the 1750s and 60s.

If I was new to coins I'd sooner invest in lite than bit, I'm not sure bit will double again bUT I'm pretty damn sure lite will

And instead bought another cryptocurrency, Bitcoin cash. And maybe some private jets too.

And he's not a founder of Bitcoin (as far as we all know). He's a co-founder of the website bitcoin.com, as even the article headline says.

Is this a reasoned conclusion based on evidence, or basically just a blind guess?

Here's my speculation: regardless of it being a leading or lagging indicator, none of these are crashing until this business cycle crashes.

Now if you'll just tell me when that's going to be, I don't need bitcoin to make money!
