I saw a lengthy interview with Zakaria where he talks about the book. Its here if you're interested.

I'm reading Night Watch by Sergey Lukyanenko. I saw the movie which was incomprehensible, but was intrigued enough to read the book which so far is much more understandable.

Professional Knowledge Gained From Operational Expirience In Viet Nam. It's a circa-1966 USMC maual I got at the Army-Navy store. Very erie how closley some of the stuff paralells with todays wars.

I'm onto God Emperor of Dune now

The first half of Children of Dune was a bit too.. hmm.. I'm not sure what word I'm looking for here, but the first half didn't hold my interest as much as Dune and Dune Messiah (although Dune Messiah wasn't that great in some parts either).. the ending of Children was great though.

I am pumped about God Emperor.

I've read all these before, btw, in high-school.. re-reading them now after I made my way through the 6 prequels.

 I am reading it because it is required summer reading for my Advanced Placement European History class! I love it too.

I'm rereading Predictably Irrational by Dan Ariely. It's about "the hidden forces that shape our decisions."

OooOOooo.

It's very good and I wanted to digest the information. So I read it, then put it down, and now I'm rereading it. :)

I see we have Bill Cosby in the house.

Speaking of which, I just finished Cosbyology: Essays and Observations from the Doctor of Comedy. Pretty good actually.
