ack, must be fate or destiny or something.

canada's still in the lead, thailand, hungary, assyria, and hittites are neck to neck, so... yea. gonna be a tough one.
 
^the first "playable" version of WoL (only civs, leaders, and some aesethic changes) will hopefully be available by the end of the month.

also:

only two civs will make it to WoL, and they're coming from this poll. the leaders in the poll so far are:

- Canada (22)
- Hittites (16)
- Hungary (15)
- Assyria (12)
- Aborigines (6)

Canada most certainly fought in WWII. Of the beaches that were to be taken on D-Day, two were American targets, two were British, and one was Canadian IIRC.
 
Then the Canadians fought at one of the objective beaches at Normandy on June 6, 1944, didn't they? Don't quibble over the particulars of the English language, especially since it's not your first. :p ;)

No i meant that Brits were also fighting on Juno Beach. It was a joint British-Canadian effort.

I don't know the particulars of that beach, but my main point is unaffected either way. Saying the Canucks never fought in WWII would be like saying the ANZAC never fought in North Africa. They did, but of course it was a joint effort.
