I know there's a nation (more a tribe, but with their own language) in South America with 23 members. They should be in.
Would be nice, one is the leader, the other are scientific or military leader. And one is the UU. COOL!!!

They didn't include the rennaisance because only Europe had it. The Arab world didn't even go through a dark age. China has been standing since the Roman Empire.

Personally, I think the techs are eurocentric enough. The ages are an unnecessary touch.
Yes, we are the civilized world for quite a long time, thanks. ;)

On topic:
East Timor, Indonesia, Australia, Kiwis, Canada, Quebec, Tupi, Atlantida, Madagascar, Bantu, Morrocco, Ethiopia, Algerians, Phoenicia, Filistea, Etruscs, Basque, Schimoes, Iceland, Greenland, Finish, Laponia, Vatican, Venice, Piemonte, Swiss, Austrians, Romenia/Dacia, Serbs, Lithuania, Polish, Ukraine, Xiitas, Sunitas, Macedonians, Minoans, Sparta, Malta, Assyrians, Khmer, Vietcongs, Hawaians, Polynesians :(

Bah, so many.

PS: sorry for the mess

they should devide china into at least three, devide india into two, devide russia into two, get rid of the celts, and the dutch, and the vikings(were barbarians with iron) - perhaps combine all into the normans. Add Guge, not add tiny civs that were never powerful. There are TOO many for the fertile crescent, sumeria AND babylon. (If all of them stay in, add the Assyrians, their special unit would be SOOO cool, a spearman with a high attack and low defense.) Greece was never a big empire, it was never very powerful at all, Alexander the great was NOT GREEk he was MACEDONIAN. Make the muslims into two. (There were two seperate countries I can't remember what they are called.)

The strategy of the makers of civ 3 was to choose famous civs even if they were nevr powerful, or historically accurate. In real life there was no way a Persian immortal could beat roman legion. If there was a castle in a city berserkers couldn't do anything. I think now that they have a big fanbase they should start making it historically accurate- meaning that it couldn't be geographically balanced because there was really no one in North America or southern Africa besides nomads.

Graad what is your beef with the Celts, IN RL they admittedly would have been pushed off to one small island by now but their conquered citizens would never assimilate. The Celts as a cultural unit have been wildly successful on the down low. They don't have a great historical empire but without the Irish England and America would never have been what they are. Without the Celts the French would be a radically different culture. I need to go home and get my books if I want to give any more instances...

I want to see Tibet and Poland.

Otherwise my only gripe has been the lack of sufficient representation to certain continents.

Name a Civ from the 'antartic territories.'

I'd say the Kanem-Bornu have the lowest actual chance of every being in a game, even a specific scenario, ever.

well I'll be dammed. thats pretty kick ass actually.

As Gunner said, the Desert and the Moon scenario will have Kanem-Bornu. ;)

We know there will be 19 civ in civ4, and we are sure that some civs are in (rome, greece, etc.). But no body talks about the all times forgotten of history (some have good reasons to be ;) ) Who will never be in the civ franchise? Don't say Quebec, we all have our hopes

Vive renée Lesveque!!! Vive Jean Chare... :ar15: :ar15: Vive Paul Mart... :ar15: :ar15:

I think it would help if Quebec was a country to begin with, which it isn't and won't be. ;)
