United States-Federal Republic

One of the better states, by the way. :yeah: :jump:

Yes, I put Australia and New Zealand together. I am aware that they're separate countries but I only had 20 slots in the poll and had to make some compromises that otherwise I wouldn't have. I apologize to all Kiwis for lumping them in with the Aussies, and I apologize to the Aussies for making them go slumming with the Kiwis.

I'm an Aussie and i don't mind at all that you put Aust and NZ together. We pretty much occupy the same part of this rock and we're alike in a lot of ways. Do you not like being a part of a NZ/Aust identity architekt and lucidity? I really think it matters very bloody little, mabey it's just me...

Depends if you count the British as European, which I am sure quite a few of us wouldn't.

Ahem, AFAIK Great britain isn't a continent right ? Then, whether you like it or not you ARE European.
Or is it that you think the UK is part of the US already ? :p

A small nice peaceful country that isn't even on the list and whose name has nothing to do with Prussia. ;)

Britain is in Europe on all levels. The only case you could make for it not being in Europe is on a incredibly tenuous geographical level, and even that doesn't stand up to any rational analysis.

Britain has been a part of Europe since the year dot, and it always will be.

It's another example of some people trying to twist all avalible realities to suit their political ends. Ignore them.

Aren't you from the UK ?

If he's from Wales, he might not think the UK is a country, as the word is ambiguous, it might either mean a nation or a state?

Many of the Welsh and Scots folk think of Wales and Scotland and England and Ireland as separate countires.

Austria, Europe. Asouth of Germany, north of Italy.. We are speaking German here...

And we have more inhabitants than Norway, Finland, Sweden or Denmark, so I don't see why Austria is not in the list ;)

You should have made a poll where you connect all EU states.. That would be easier to read and to compare with the US...

I do and im british....

"Or is it that you think the UK is part of the US already ? :p "

Grrrrrrrr.... ;)

"Many of the Welsh and Scots folk think of Wales and Scotland and England and Ireland as separate countires."

That is cause they are :p, Scotland has its own parliment

Id just like to say that calling scottish, english, welsh, and N irish people british is like calling swedes, fins, norwegians and danes scandinavian.

Depends on how you define a 'country'. To me, that's the geogrpahical area that a particular state has power over. So I wouldn't say wales is a country, and neither is it a state.

It's a nation, of sorts, though. Scotland most certainly is a nation, also.
