What do you do at work?

Perf is just a lazy <realy nice guy> :D.

Shoot, PT, drive, instruct and eat crappy food :)

I haven't been working while at college, so I can't say anything about currently. However, I weill be returning to my job at Barnes & Noble over the summer, where I mostly work at the information desk (though sometimes I do inventories, or store patrols helping customers in the stacks of the extremely large Paramus branch). When there are no customers around and I'm at the desk, I read, as there is nothing work-related that does not require customers while at the desk. I rarely browse the internet as well at the station there.

I'm also going to be working at the Lebanese Mission to the UN this summer, which is a sort of unorthodox job where I'll be studying Arabic at the mission during my off-time.

Right now I am going to be unemployed. I've compleated my required hours that I have done for my Internship.
I'm also unemployed, and I finished my tech internship for the local school district yesterday. Unpaid internship :(

Shoot, PT, drive, instruct and eat crappy food :)
Sounds like a blast.

Chain dogs outside of the kennels, take their food and water bowls to them, distribute food to dogs while navigating throught their piles of waste. This work lasts about 30 mins honeslty and there's a lot of other ppl there so I barely do much work. Most of the time I just talk to my friends and play with the puppies and kittens and clock up hours for doing nothing.

Sadly I was forced to stop since I can;t get hours for it anymore.

Before that I worked at a human rights organzation I basically did nothing, just sat in a AC room reading the newspaper and clocking hours again. Nice.

Now I'm planning on doing something similar to get more hours.

Mostly I read and post stuff here, but I also am supposed to look after the reception and bar of a hotel.

I'm a programmer/database maintenance guy for a government agency.

Most of the time I sit in my office, either typing away at a million wpm when I know exactly what I need to do, or else leaning back cogitating on whatever problem is at hand (often surfing the web a bit at the same time). From time to time someone comes by with some fix or hack or special data-mining operation that they want me to do, and usually I can deliver results pretty fast, which makes them happy. I rather like my job.
