What do you think about Poland?

There is no such thing as a Polish woman, I seen like 10 Polish guys but no Polish girls.....

New variant! There is only Polish guys at school because Polish girls are not allowed to go to High School as they have to stay at home and make pirogis (ughhhhh I hate that word)

You're right Winner, anyone who strikes is spoiled.

Too bad I didn't say so, Mr. Strawman. There are strikes in post-commie countries too, but compared to Western Europe, strikes are rare here.

So, either

a) all is perfect and we don't need to strike
b) West Europeans strike too much

Explains why the Poles have such a success penetrating Western European job markets.

e) Eastern Europeans have low standards and are used to poor working conditions, low pay, and being treated like like inferiors so conditions that Western Europeans find intolerable are like a wonderful paradise to Eastern Europeans.

That is why there will never be any good athletes coming from West Europe anymore because they are all so lazy :)
Gladly I will continue to rob the riches of your country and it will rot from your decadence!

i think it's a combination of c and e.

and tekee, you're the kind of guy who, when he plans to rob something, chooses a police station as target. i strongly advise against this.

Because they are never unionised and thus are easy to treat like shoot by bosses. they don't know their right and don't seem interested in them, thus when the boss decides to fire them for no reason they have no idea theres any recourse. and, above all else, they are cheap. they are almost all educated workers but for some reason they work for cheap, they dont need to.

first time in my life I've ever been on strike BTW, and I've been in the workforce for 12 years so you may want to revise your made up tales of us decadent westerners sabotaging the industrious go getting capitalists.

Yeah, youre right, there are no good western European footballers. and theres no way a 6'2 English boxer could beat a 7'6' russian one, is there?

If they were Polish they wouldnt have gone to the WC, only Serbia can play out of all the Easterners

Only out of struggle do people reach their great potential. Easy breezy western europeans developmentally are children so that is why they throw strikes (aka temper tantrums).
Atheletes struggle and are the last strugglers of west europe.

Polish athletes sure seem to struggle, all right - struggle to win games anyway

Well, that`s poor generalisation, it might have been true 15 or 10 years ago but not now. Polish economy is growing steadily despite crisis, and unemployment is now one digit figure. I would rather link it to some western Europeans being used to living in welfare state. Also, most Poles just want to work for year or two and then come back home with capital - why would they participate in strike with that perspective in mind?

c) 50 years of totalitarian regime supressed any potential strike culture.

It`s actually other way around. In companies where state still holds some shares (mining, railroad, shipyards) workers are striking on regular basis, and unfortunately with success. However, in private sector strikes are limited to some very large companies.
