I think reality is a concept, sure you can buy a telly and a house and call it "reality" when it really isn't.

(Bolding is mine.)

I'm sure this must be some sort of logical fallacy. It's like trying to describe smell, and using the word 'smelly' in your description.

Reality is what works.

People who are stuck in the wrong reality:
a) Get upset easily with people.
b) Get frustrated with life.
c) Keep doing the same thing while "believing" they are doing the right thing but are getting nowhere.
d) etc

I used to believe that reality is how you make it. To an extent it is true. YOU have to give yourself permission for certain things. However reality is simply what works in this world. Nothing less.

Reality is that which cannot be avoided, but ultimately must be faced. It is something you are moving toward, inexorably, inescapably.

The first death, being the largest and most obvious reality, in this life.

No need to be so abstract -- reality is not that illusive to identify, understand and come to terms with.

:goodjob: Nice definition! :)

15 whole posts and nobody has hijacked the thread with Matrix quotes?

What is reality?

Reality is everywhere. It is all around us. Even now, in this very room. You can see it when you look out your window or when you turn on your television...
