what is the history behind ur CFC name?

From the character in "Bored of the Rings" who is
the parody of Saruman in Tolkein. It was also a
laxitive (don't know if it still exists or not...)

Nice I loved "Bored of the Rings" although it took me a decade to understand the joke behind "Minas Troney"

I use this name for a lot of things online, but I used to be active in the SCA (Society for Creative Anachronism) and that's what I called myself.

For a second I got all excited thinking you worked for the Student Conservation Assoc. Actually the SCA is a fun bunch. When I was a park ranger they used to rent the group camping area in my park. They treated me like the king when I would go on patrol.

When I started using internet I needed an uncommon username. For some reason I can't remember I chose funxus, I also have a password I use everywhere. Not very safe, but at least I can remember it:)

Mine harkens back to a wargaming club in the 1970s when I was in college. Many of my fellow members dubbed my playing style relentless and remorseless.

Wanna play a MP game? :D

oh my god, Joe goes retro on the avatar!!!

Too easy. My first name is Evgeny. In English and French it's written like Eugene. But since there're too many Eugenes in the web, I had to reconsider the spelling to differentiate from them while retaining the same pronunciation. That's that.

what is the history behind ur CFC name? gradious? AoA? kittenofcaos? Bifrost?

AT LAST!!!!!
Stalin , I'm glad you've asked!!!
My nick is NOT connected with some 'frost' at all, frankly, I couldn't even Imagine that my nick can be changed in the ways the CFC visitors were changing it from time to time.

So, where did I get it from?
It is from the Civilization Test of Time game - Midgard scenario - according to the scenario "Bifrost" is the rainbow bridge, that connects the world of people "Midgard" with the world of gods "Asgard". BTW, the idea of this scenario is completely based on the original celtic and scandinavian mythology.

Nothing to creative behind my name. My name was from the character of the same name on the cartoon show called "Histeria!" A cartoon that tried to teach history. ^_^;;;
I loved that show. :D

hey i loved that show histeria too ^_^, i loved the soviet revolution adn the ww2 shows, they were great!.....adn bifrost........i always tought it had something to do w/ cold or ice, but now it makes sence

:ack: That was the least funny show Burbank has come up with in a long time (that's a lot of compitition to beat). And a bad idea to boot. I have never thought that history should be tought to children. It is a dark subject with little humor. Histeria would've been forgivable if it was funny, but it wasn't.

Sorry, but I just had to .

WildFire because i played Quake 3 (on m-player which is no longer around, and i don't use gamespy, see my sig) and the 444, well because the original was taken and so was a 4 (my lucky number) so i add as many fours until it worked. Plus i like fire

j/k ;)

Småsnekje or smaasnekje (As in the norwegian language you can convert å to aa) is an extremely local word for "a bit cold" me and some friends created some homepages with local words, but mine is the only one who has been updated since last spring :p

Arvedui was the last king of Arthedain in Middle Earth. I like the Lord of the Rings a lot.

Cloudyvortex: I'll agree in that the show was stupid a lot, but I am into dumb humor. ^^; It was borderline a lot at times, but I think they still handled it pretty well.
Stalin006: My favorite episodes were The History of Flight and Ancient Rome. :D

And since we are on the topic...
