Maybe those ships shouldn't have been there in the first place. I can't imagine they were up to any good for Iran, and were probably just drone or missile platforms to attack Iran without declaring war (thus being against international law and circumventing U.S. military Congressional release law), or baiting Iran, anyways. Oops! I defied the Imperialistic Military Machine Line and pointed out a flaw in the Contrived Casus Belli Engine...

What's frightening is that lines are already being drawn for multinational conflict. China and Russia are apparently cozying up during president Xi's recent meeting with Putin. I can't blame them between the Democrats demonization of Russia and Trump's constant badgering of China. In the ME itll be Iran and Syria backed by Russia against SA and Isreal backed by US. I wish I could say we were on the right side here but the US, SA and Isreal seem to be the offenders rather than the defenders in this. We are getting dangerously close to WWIII. Trump doesn't necessarily want that but he's dumb enough to let Pompeo and Bolton make it happen and I really get the impression those two crazy fudgers are amped for global conflict.

I saw mentioned 25,000 tons of Methanol and 75,000 tons Naphta.
Both are highly flammable causing high temperatures and flam radiation fronts.
It seems in total still not much cargo.
Do we know more ?

Was it a super tanker? I know those can carry over 300k tons. If it was a smaller ship that might be a pretty good load.

The evidence on who was responsible for the previous attack was inconclusive and there are at least 4 countries who seem to want an excuse for a war with Iran.

With so many false flags going all the way back to the gulf of Tonkin it's almost the default to just assume false flag these days.
I remember when Trump was first elected and they pointed out his many lies in the first few months one commentator, forget who, said it was bad because people wouldn't believe him when it was important that they should. just technical... as info to why these ships were targetted,.
an oiltanker would have the risk of a huge oil pollution in the sea,
the substances in the hit tankers just burn fast (kill people, sink the ship risk) or when streaming into the sea will evaporate away at a fast rate
I miss some factual info on size ships, cargo, flag, company.

Its the middle east could be any number of nations or proxy forces that are pushing the buttons.
They are still killing each other over some family succession feud that happened thousand years ago
But Iam more worried about the US itching to start up another war. It might start with a few airstrikes and then spiral out of control with terrorist suicide bombings and then the next thing you know half the country is on fire.
