What is your aim?

1.) Apply for my visa
2.) Go to Britain
3.) Get a good letter of rec
4.) Get to grad school

Umm, that's about it right now.

Then why spend time talking to them over the internet?

Because I am a social creature and being 100% isolated would have a severe impact on my health, which, since it's already awful, may very well be the nail in my coffin?

That doesn't make sense. Either you get something emotional out of social activity which hence improves your health or whatever, or you don't. If the former, there is something about this "species" you actually like and need, which poses the question, why you try to pretend that you don't.

As a human I require verbal/text communication to not feel fully isolated. If you have any alternatives besides another human, please, do share.

My aim is to aim my nukes at Gandhi.

The point is, you not wanting to feel isolated means that you - in principle - are able and willing to enjoy human company.

I enjoy communication.

If there were another species than humanity to do that with, I would gladly speak to them instead. My regular-speaking happens solely with people who share the same distaste for humanity or do not exhibit most of the traits I hate.

You are incapable of telling me that I am wrong, as you are not me. Do not attempt to do so.

1) Lose weight once I get access (as well as time) to a nice gym at uni

Hey there, I lost 25 pounds earlier this year without working out at all. I switched to a high-fat & low-carb/sugar diet. Worked like a charm. Not easy to do, but works very well

Really? What is this diet and how does it work?

1) My short-run aim is to hit the gym hard. I've got a long stretch of summer to go and I want to get into a good gym habit. I have a little excess fat which needs to be shed and I need to gain some extra muscle. AKA try and look good.
2) Work my arse off for next year. Have to secure a 2:1 at least. I cannot fail this.
3) Forget the bad stuff! Focus on the good stuff.

In this case, I suggest that your disdain towards other members of your species is in the end a mere reflection of the disdain towards yourself. So that explains why you don't like people but still need some kind of connection to them - because you don't actually dislike people, but yourself.
Maybe try to do something that makes you proud of yourself? Usually works, though if a sophisticated mental illness is at play, my bets are off.

I recommend keeping busy constantly and preferably busy in a social context. When your not thinking about your life and your self you will stop breaking your own balls and can focus on something else.

Oh how little you two know.

Do you really think your the only person in humanity to feel the way you do?
Doubtless millions today and in the past have had the same feelings you do. You just gotta step up.

One of these days I shall post a thread about the way I feel and the reasoning behind it. One day. Feel free to continue telling me to "step up" in the meantime though!

edit: Also I never claimed I was the only person. Do attempt to quote me.

But here is the thing: I don't think that reasoning actually breeds feeling. Rather, I think it is merely used to legitimize feelings. Whatever you feel, I strongly recommend to not assume that it is somehow "rational" to feel that way. To feel is not rational.

Anyway, as I in deed know little about you, I stop targeting with a blindfold on.

Really? What is this diet and how does it work?

It's a Ketogenic diet and it basically forces your body to use your fat reserves as fuel instead of sugars and carbs.

If you eat less than 20g of carbs & sugars for 3 days or so, your body will start producing ketone bodies and will go into a state of ketosis. While in this stage it will use fat as its sole energy source.

The diet is supposed to be high in fat so that you stay full, but if you feel full just eat some bacon.. so hey.. it's pretty much the PERFECT diet. Eat bacon - lose weight. I ate way more protein and less fat than I was supposed to, and I lost a ton of weight anyway.. I even cheated every weekend and sometimes even more frequently than that...

A side benefit from cutting out carbs & sugars was me feeling more energetic every day. It made me feel great!

Watch out though.. You are really changing your diet & internal body chemistry a lot by doing this.. You're basically hacking your body ;) So.. it could affect you in other ways too, especially if your internal chemistry is not very adaptive to sudden change.

Cutting out processed foods is going to do your body a lot of good anyway, so if you're not ready for a drastic change like that, you could at least look into eating healthier ... more veggies, less processed foods, more bacon, etc.
