According to Wiki, the oldest continually-inhabited city in Iran is Susa, founded about 4200 BC. It is beaten by:

Byblos, Lebanon (5000 BC or earlier)

Jericho, Israel (9000 BC)

Van, Turkey (originally Armenia, 5000 BC or earlier)

Damascus, Syria (10,000 BC at earliest)

One last thing, the original centers of civilization were Mesopotamia, Harappa (India), Egypt, and China. Persia rose to prominence because of the trading cities established there by about 800 BC.

I'm not sure what you meant about the crisps, but the first agricultural centers were in Mesopotamia/Southeast Turkey at 8000 BC. As for cities, they first arose in this area, the most famous of which being Catal Huyuk in Turkey. Persia was close behind, but it was not before then. Egypt was a relative latecomer to agriculture, getting it c. 5000 BC IIRC. As for the first civilizations, Sumer was first in c. 3500 BC, with India and Egypt coming about 500 years later and China probably by about 2000 BC and certainly by about 1500 BC.

EDIT: To be fair, the people inhabiting Catal Huyuk were not Turks. Turks were not to come into the area until the Middle Ages.
