shahr-e shookhte(burn city) in iran is the frist cultural city, Scientists said.

The Wikipedia article you linked to says it was founded in 3200 BC, or thereabouts, so it was beaten by Catal Huyuk, Jericho, and about a hundred other cities. ;)

you can speak persian???????!!!!!!!
plz say: great cyrus ghashang nist. this is basic but it is a good way. sorry my friend for that sentence.

No, I don't speak persian. I speak arabic, and a bit turkish.
I did attend persian course for a year (I wanted to attend turkish, but the teacher told us to wait, and after 3 weeks decided not to come at all, and the very same day persian course started, so I thought it's the signal from Heaven I should learn it. But as soon as turkish was available again, I switched to it). I do recall some basic words, like obi, doneshdju, yek, do, se, ciahor etc.

Our teacher insisted persian languages are closely related to slavic, and that persian is closer to polish than german, and it can be seen in some basic words, for example,
5 is panch' in persian, and pięć (which sounds as piench') in polish, or 200 is dwiescie in polish, and dwist in persian.

The agricultural revolution marks the beginning of settled 'civilization'. This occured in the fertile cresent (and perhaps also in China) just after the end of the last ice age (~13000 ya, IIRC). Iraq, not Iran, was the first to use seeds.

Are we going to refer to pastoralism as civilization? Why not hunter-gatherers then? Surely both are 'cultures' and existed long before humans were in Iran.

The Neolithic Revolution was only c. 10000 years ago and occured in as many as seven places. It doesn't = cities. Cities came around, first in Turkey and Iraq, and CLOSE BEHIND in Iran. The first civilization was in Iraq (Sumer) in 3500 BC. There was not a Persian civilization in Iran until about 2500 years later IIRC, with the Elamites first building a civ around 1500 BC.

Iran isn't the cradle of civilization. Deal with it.

my view of iran is that its a barbaric state, full of fundamentalists. and i saw the historical documentary "300", and it looks like you guys havent changed one bit since the persian empire.

300? you are a great stupid. you decided with a untrue move about a great country?
you dont have any history. you robbed our books about 1200 to 1300 a.d. and you grow in 1900 a.d.

why do you feel the need to insult me? have i wronged you?

i think you just dont like 300 because you're bias. the historical accuracy was top notch. and dont convince me that the Persians weren't a bunch of freedom hating, mutilated, incompetent losers because i saw 300.

I believe he knows that 300 is inaccurate is just trolling in order to annoy you.

Also, if I recall correctly, Hossam is a dual US/Egyptian citizen of Egyptian descent. That means his people have a very long, including being part of the Persian Empire at its height. .

that also means that my US people have a very recent history of being able to totally obliterate Iran at the drop of a hat.
