me:

Chinese SKS 7.62mm
Remmington pistol grip 12 gauge
Remmingon normal 12 gauge shotgun
remmington 20 gauge double barrel over/under
S&W .357 magnum
Beretta 9mm
various .222 and .223 rifles
.25 semi-automatic pistol

my favorite overall was the .223 fireball. very accurate, somewhat quiet, and not too much kick.

SKS
Several different types and gauges of shotguns, including semi-automatic
S&W .357 mag
several different .22 revolvers
.32 semi-auto pistol
M1 Garand
Black powder rifles ranging from .45 to .54 caliber
30-06 sniper rifle
.38 winchester rifle
several others

None for me, not unless I join the security forces; possession of arms is illegal in these parts.

.22, .380, 9mm, .45ACP, and .44mag pistols
.22, M-1, and M-16 rifles
.50 cal Browning
5"/54cal naval gun

The .45ACP pistol is by far my favorite.

I touched dozens of guns at work but I never fired one.
I don't wish to do so anyway.

No, not really as it was a joke.

Whatever.

To indulge your boyish gun-obsession thread:

I have held many antique guns, including -
MP-38s/40,
Thompson,
Magnum 44',
Luger,
Walther P-38,
Also several Panzerfausts and Stielhandgranates.

It means little, so what? - They are bits of metal.

the swiss army assault rifle, don't remember the name, and frankly i don't care

So are cars and computers, yet people form hobbies around those as well.

During a bachelor's party:

S&W 38
Magnum
Some 9mm thing (possibly) Beretta
Shotgun

The shotgun was rather cool.

I've fired:

AG-3
MG-3
MP-5
A recoil-free rocket launcher (dont remember the name)
A sniper rifle (dont remember the name)
Various pistols

All when I was in the army..

Not much here. Just a .223 rifle and a standard 12-guage shotgun for skeet/trap shooting. Meh.

Quite a few.

My all-around favorite would be the Ruger 10/22 rifle. I wouldn't recommend hunting dinosaurs with it, but it's accurate, very reliable, and quite sharp in appearance. Particularly the stainless steel edition. Many a tasty rabbit has found it's way into a stew via this instrument.

The gun I've shot with the greatest kick would be the Mossberg "Riot-Style" shotgun. It doesn't have a stock. Not something you want to be in front of.

The loudest gun I've heard would be the AR-15, a semi-automatic cousin of the M-16.

The most accurate would be the M1 Garand. You can see why the army was reluctant to give these up.

The reason they got rid of the Garand was because soldiers would wait too long to fire. It had a great range but few used it.

One of the bullets went through an old plow share at about 100 yards. It was impressive.
