Funker Vogt has tons of thematically passable stuff so one from the newer side.
SpoilerAttention, NSFW language! :
Funker Vogt - Ikarus
Agonoize - I Just Want To Live
A general view on the current situation. I seem to recall colourful language being ok on linked videos. This is live version with a bit distorted audio but the F-bombs are still popping. Viewer discretion advised.
While risking monopolizing the thread this Canadian visionary deserves to be heard. It's a fair assumption that he had different demarcation lines in mind while writing the lyrics but he's still spot on.
Corey Hart - Komrade Kiev
Does anyone know what the sampled tune starting ~3'17 is? I think I was led to believe it's an old Russian (or Soviet on broader terms) folk tune but I've no idea if even that is true.
Still as positive but the BPM has been lowered a bit.
Funker Vogt - Nuclear Winter
Back into normal range of BPM. These could be handy around Kyiv even if a bit outdated. The F-117s that is. The dancers not so much.
Funker Vogt - F-117
Expanding the international aspect or as a woman few years back explained her love of aggrotech to me: techno & screaming - it can't possibly go wrong.
Dulce Liquido - Anticristianos
Again, from Germany - that horn of plenty of EBM. And yes, that's the way band likes to present itself in written form.
For those who justifiably think my musical perversions only include stuff were mandatory audience outfit is all black I can assure that that's not the case. In the words of Kenny Everett, and now something completely different.
Yes, I know both are from Eurovision song contest but that's just to show how deep my issues are.
Classic French approach to winning in style
Marie Myriam - L'oiseau et l'enfant
More of a pan-european approach. Greek national German resident performing in French for Luxembourg. Interestingly I think Leadros has recorded in more languages than Trump knows to exist.
I also casually browsed through the thread and saw some great stuff but also some blasphemous statements like referring to And One as synthpop while they clearly are more of Futurepop some harsher stuff approaching EBM. Even my dead grandmothers knew this and the unnamed individual can start expecting a visit from the Spanish Inquisition. A suitable punishment being limiting the amps from going up to 11 just to 5, at best.
One of the greatest covers ever. Not that it's a huge difference to the original but still.
My closest neighbours are some 30m away and the loudspeakers are facing the opposite direction so, sadly, they can only properly hear greatness at summertime when the windows & doors might be open. I think I'm pulling a semi everytime I hear the And One version.
Another great cover.
Disturbed - The Sound of Silence
while this might be the absolute peak of cover versions and by the previous metrics female presence is becoming a necessity before accidents will happen.
I can't generally stand anything like that but there're few exceptions. The least of reasons is surely not Tina Frank. She has also preserved herself very well if such a statement is still allowed. She was and is hawt. I find her very suitable example of A Woman to be used in educational material like in Wikipedia for less exprienced individuals.
