How would people classify Queen and Abba? I enjoy most of their stuff, but classical is the best IMO. I just have the categories "actively want to listen to it" and "run away if at all possible", with "i can put up with it" in the middle.

ska, punk, various flavours of rock, various flavours of metal, etc, etc. If I was only restricted to one genre and not allowed to listen to anything else, it would be ska though. Closely followed by punk. And rock, especially aussie rock stuff like AC/DC, Midnight Oil, Angels, etc.

I'm really into vocal-orientated stuff. This means:
-Rock like the Foo Fighters and the Verve.
-Metal bands with good vocals, like Iced Earth.
-jPop. It's infinitely better than any of the mainstream stuff we get over here. Although since it's pop, a good chunk of it is terrible.
-Red Army Choir. Brilliant group. Don't really know any other decent choir/opera stuff though.

I like rock in english but it's mostly old bands like queen,beatles etc which happen to be what spanish bands sound like

I listen to music from pretty much every genre there is, though in many genres I only find a few songs appealing (like Hip hop and Country).

Of course, if you want to break country into old country and new country, I can honestly claim that new country has failed to produce anything I like, or even can tolerate for that matter.

Of course, we use a different term for "New Country" in Canada: Old Rock

In general I find that people who like Drum n Bass don't nesscerailly like other Electronica, so I seperated it, it is a big genre (at least in the UK) by itself, enough to warrant it's own option I reckon!
