I play with blessings enabled, because I love vast quantities of resources.

Living world for the events. But even with that on, random events still feel too uncommon. Especially in the late game where you have so much micromanaging to do each turn, so that you're slowed down to one turn every 3-5 minuts, rather than as fast as ou can hit enter. Random events seem to never come at times like that.
 
I hate the permanant alliances setting. Why is that even there?

Why should you have to purposely enable a game feature?

'Cause it's not that balanced and is kinda cheesy.

I think PA should be on by default, and the option be there to disable it instead.

I agree with that. It should definitaly be that way.
