I agree with Cyc! Let's break away from the Fanatica-style name and explore other possiblities (as we discussed in the other DG's). Pari in Latin translates to "equal" in English. Let's use that as the basis of our name. Equality and Democracy are two ideas that are not that far apart. 1 person, 1 vote. Let's be equal as Parisians!

Les Civerables de Fanatiqua

We are Les Civerables
Our country is La Fanatiqua

There is a problem with that; the President names the capital and the chance is slim that it will be called Paris. If I follow your line of thinking, which I like, we would be Noshurens or Noshuretians in DG3 and <capitol-name>ians in DG4.

We then have to postpone this decision till after the Presidential elections and till the name of the Capitol is selected.

I agree with Cyc in that we should choose a name that isn't nescesarily based on Fanatics.

Though I agree with Furiey that Parisians sound a bit to much like RL.

Nope, sorry Rik Meleet. My statement had nothing to do with our next Capital City. I wouldn't presume to force the President's naming of his city to match my suggestion. We, as a nation would be called the Parisians. Our country would be called Paris. This would allow the Capital City to be named anything the President wanted.

I was just trying to work in the "Equality" angle because the "Pari" fit so well.
