The screenshots released today show:

1) The Celtic Capital: Entremont
2) Brennus himself, looking dandy in his tatoos.
3) The Medieval Infantry Unit.
4) The Gallic Swordsman.
5) The List:
Arabs
Ottomans
Vikings
Spanish
Celts
Koreans
Carthaginians
AND
Mongols!!

So the medieval infantry improves the swordsman by 1 attack. Does the swordsman upgrade to it? If so, then medieval infantry would actually become guerilla fighter.

The Gallic unit is faster than the medieval infantry. I fit is available around the time of the Samurai and medieval infantry, then its OK. If itt comes around regular swordsmen then watch out!

The Celts join the Japaness and Aztecs as being religious and militaristic. Something tells me that these are popular traits for empire-building civs.

We already have enough Rel Mil civs. What we nee is more civs with com and mil. Think about it huge armies and the money to support them.

That's true. And, besides on the effect on gameplay, I don't think the military trait for the celts is adequate. I mean, they were great warriors, but never an organized and/or disciplined military. Commercial would have been better.

Commercial or Industrious. Even Expansionist and Religious. Religious is a must, however.

i cant see industrious for the celts. religious definetly, maybe expansionistic. i think thats the only other one i could see applied to the celts. I cant see commercial for a civilization like the celts.

does anyone know the attibutes for the other new civs?

What's the betting Firaxis will forget to remove Genghis Khan from the Chinese leaders list...

Yeah, com and mil work sooo well for the Romans. Unless I'm playing them, I've never seen the Romans survive beyond the early industrial age.

I think Vikings will be expansionistic and militaristic... just a guess...
and Carthagians will prolly be commercial and militaristic... still just a guess... and some plain logics... :)
Arabs will definetly be commercial and suicidal... ;)

Templar is/was right - despite the outstanding legionary, the commercial trait was only useful in the late game. Now, it's a little better early.

I play Rome because it is the Civ that best suits my style - empire. The militaristic gives an edge in conflict, and commercial makes a huge empire more productive and viable.

In the game, I have YET to see India as anything but one of the most powerful Civs, every game. It's their traits - too powerful really.

India is also one of the most powerful civs in my game to. (especialy when I play as them:))
