I'm playing Nemo's Red Front on Prince level. Well, as the Soviets, I have developed the Ural region to where I can get out a tank a turn. It is late in the summer of 1943, and I have about 120 T-34/85, 20 KV-1s, and 2 T-34/76s. I've pushed the Nazis out of Russia except for Riga and the cities bordering Poland. I've taken down most of the Panzer IVs and IIIs, but now they have Panthers and Tigers, but not enough to stop my (eventual) westward push. Should I wait so the game is more historical, or push ahead. And what do you think I should do about all my tanks? I have a bunch (about 40%) still aroud Moscow, Kaluga, Smolensk, etc. Should I disband them? What would you do?

Without knowing the exact particulars,I would say push ahead. If you have them on the defensive, then keep them that way.Remember how the beginning was and how you dug in and slowly worked your way forward to regain lost territory?..you don't want them to do the same.Or you can do some heavy re-enforcing and make a big push in the next winter.German units will be caught in the freeze and can be easily picked off.

Move your tanks up to the front.I'm little confused on this.Seems most logical to have war units get involved in the war.Use older units to hold cites. You'll probably need katyusha's to take out defenders as they ignore anti tank defenses.T-34s can be used in the mountains to hold and to take out units in the feild,They have greater range than their German counterparts and most effective in winter.1 T-34 for 3-4 German units is a good ratio in the war of attrition.

Tigers and Panzers should be given high priority.Scout them out with IL 2s and then take them out ASAP.Don't allow the Germans to accumulate any number of these.

History,shmishmory.Take them out.:D
If you win too quickly, you will miss out on some events though.

Next time bump up the difficulty level a notch or 2.It was designed for deity level.

I would've played deity, but I figured I'd give it an easy try the first time.
