What We Know About Brave New World

Ok updated again, as always if I have missed something please let me know

Edit: even more update, full world congress list and other info

whoops thanks :)

In the interview, Ed Beach says (around 1:50-1:55) that UI improvements for Portugal is "coastal" improvements. He also says that Portugal abilities are connected with oversea trading. It does not directly imply, but it is possible that double gold from diversity of resources are for sea trade routes.

Domestic Trade Routes; Food With Granary; Production with Workshop; The starting city dose not loose the prostitution/food from their own city

Whoops? :)

(Under Trade routes section of the OP)

whoops indeed, I have no idea how that happened, sorry, fixed

From an Ed Beach interview yesterday, ...

Also from the video
[3:10] Impi gets a combat bonus, espicially if flanking the enemy. I don't know if he's talking about a unique ability of the impi or just referring to the UB promotion - however, this demands you build that unique building, which I personally do rarely ;)

[4:37] Ed confirms there are only 15 - coming from Ed himself, however my bet is 16 is including when you first are forced to choose your ideology. If that gives you a bonus when you found the ideology like the social policy tree I can't say, but I'm pretty sure there's this discussion about 15 or 16 tenats.

[7:19] Resolutions in the WC can get repiled later.

... and wouldn't it be preferable to use the exact wording in the UA of Portugal now that we have the official sentence? I know I'm a perfectionist, but... :)

I have changed it to the official sentence for you ;)

Does that mean that Portugal can only steal resources that are on the coast? Sorry I know you're only supposed to post new information, but I want to make sure Portugal's UI isn't too good and if it's only coastal resources then that's fair.
Probably yes. On screen-shots Fetorias are on the coast. On this picture

there are some sea parts of fetoria. On a screen-shot from PC Gamer Feotia also has some water part. Moreover Ed Beach words confirm that.

Caravan (Trade Unit); Unlocked by Animal Husbandry; Range 10 Tiles; Is Automated; Has no line of site
- Cargo Ship (Trade Unit); Unlocked by Sailing; Range 45 Tiles; 2x more Gold than Land Routes; Is Automated; Has no line of site
should be line of sight

Not sure anything can be concluded.

The Feotias on the screenshots all are situated by the ocean, but there's also a road connecting them with the tile improvement. It does seem likely from the pictures, but who knows, maybe you can build a road from that tile improvement to the Feotia.

So we can conclude there's nothing to conclude finally, but it does indeed seem very likely ;)
