What will the next DLC have?

How can you not be interested in turtle ships? XD

you know its just too small of an area... i would also agree that the hebrews would be in the same area but at the same time the hebrews had a HUGE impact on western civilization... when it comes right down to it, as someone that plays primarily on world maps i would prefer either the sioux (we really need a real NA civ, as a US citizen im kinda biased but i have my own opinions on the situation) and really sumeria was the first civilization that existed EVER!!! this is a civ that ought to be included from the begining.

The Sumerian city states can be said to have started with the settlement of Eridu (at around 5300 BC). The first people that settled around the Nile did that at around 8000 BC. Next to that, no civilization is ought to be in the game.

I just hope they add civilizations that give us great, new ways to play the game instead of making civilizations because a certain part of the world is underrepresented.

I'd hope for the Empire of Brazil, the Maya, or some Swahili nation,, but its more likely none of those will ever happen, outside of mods.
Probably another civ in the overcrowded Europe/Middle East regions. Portugal perhaps? I don't know any details that may exist on this, thats just the most major European power that I can think of that wasn't included so far. Might be too close to Spain in terms of play, though.

I really want some more African civs, like Ethiopia and the Zulu. I've also been thinking Simon Bolivar of Gran Columbia for some Post-Colombian Latin American representation.

The Apaches would be cool, i think the Americas need more native civs. or they could add at least one more civ into the world builder maximum.

Indeed, but before the Apache, I'd vote for the:

Mississippi
Sioux

And then I'd look at the Pueblo Indians (Yavapai, Sinagua, Hopi, etc.) for the next civ.

the mississippians would definitely be a great addition to the game and i know we've talked about it enough on these forums to get some ideas.
but anyway, i'm guessing that there will be a dlc with the next patch

I think I would prefer Apache to the Sioux, name sounds cooler :D

Why ? Is it because they got an helicopter named after them ? If so, it's pretty much irrevelant, almost facetious !
They were both plain indians and a cavalery people but only one achieved a major victory against the US at little bighorn.

I´m really hoping for the Austrian Empire as a DLC, although I don´t think they will put them in, since they never did in all civ titles. (And No, that´s got absolutely nothing to do with my origin! ;))
The Austrian Empire as a civ could get a cultural trait, with some renaissance/industrial era UU (special cannon? I think so far there´s no UU replacing cannons) and maybe an opera house replacement with extra :)

Otherwise: Zulus are really missing!!

I want the Klingons or Romulans! :p

As long as it's an interesting new Civ I'm sure I'll like it. I didn't like the Vikings, because I normally don't play as an agressor. But a new civ that would get me away from my current addiction to Babylon or Incas would be welcome. After reading some of the comments about the buffs to America, I might give them a try. Buying land cheap is appealing to me so I can maybe skip wonders and policies that are specific to that and get something else.

The civs I would like to see are Phoenicia, Sumeria, Maya, Byzantines, Celt, Austro-Hungarian, Netherlands, Portugal, Sioux, Korean, and Ethiopia.

Honestly I don't understand what is so great about the Zulu, Sure they must be fun to play as for war, but just look at their history. They were small and insignificant before Shaka, Shaka comes along leads them to military greatness but sets they up for downfall, and after he dies they fall back to an insignificant group. For Africa there should be civs that have a whole sphere of influence, like Great Zimbabwe and the Ethiopians. Well it is what I think anyway.
