What's your favorite Biome?

I went Frigid. I like most of them... but I like the idea of a real harsh environment that needs to be terraformed to survive in.

Arid, easily. Flood plains are my favourite type of terrain and they tend to be pretty common on this biome. The lack of precipitation also reduces the number of forest and marsh tiles thus making troop movement and worker improvements quicker.

If that wasn't enough you also have a decent marvel quest (complete with cool-looking alien buildings), tougher aliens and plenty of desert hills which benefit from the vivarium food bonus.

The terrain has a bit of a sickly hue to it at times, but the other benefits make up for lack of visual impact in my opinion.

I went fungal, because it looks awesomely colourful and alien, besides.. super growth through shrooms.. what's more awesome than having your entire colony living on shrooms?

I voted lush because with fungal it's more "realistic" to accomodate alien life. Both new biomes are good but I prefer frigid.
