I actually haven't had any decent in years. But I guess it's either chocolate or strawberry. Nothing extravagant.

Strawberry!

I got this really wierd flavor when i was in michagan over the summer and i havent seen it anywhere else.

Its called superman and it tastes fruity like sorbet only its not.

Also i think the best ice cream chain is coldstones hands down.

At coldstones they will mix candies/cookiedough/cookie crumbs/anything into your ice cream and they mix different types of ice cream.

Also it has this taste and texture to all thier flavors no other place has.

oreo (cookies and cream)

But vanilla is the best in general because I love it by itself and if I don't feel like having C&C, I can add different candy or whatever.

Coldstones is good, but I don't see why it's better then Dairy Queen or any other place? I worked at DQ for two years so I may be biased. And when I worked there, I experimented by combining all sorts of candies, fruits, flavors. I gained a lot of weight too...

Well for one thing coldstones is not that soft serve crap they serve at fast food places like dairy queen. I think they put more effort into making thier ice cream at cold stones but each to his own as they say...

Breyers plain vanilla.

With dark chocolate sauce.

Breyers Peach flavored owns the lesser blends.:p

Yup. We had hard serve stuff at DQ as well. I always prefered the soft serve. I like waffle cones too. and the chocolate dip we had. That's good to mix with a blizzard as well.

Root beer flavoured ice cream is awesome, though I haven't had it in a decade.

I love Root Beer ice cream. One place near Calgary you can get it is in Cochrane at MacKay's ice cream shop.

Sherbert kicks ice cream*. Give me a bowl of orange-flavored sherbert any day.

* Note: Ice cream is superior when in a root beer float

I haven't had strawberry in a long, long time. That is, of course, if you don't count the shakes at McDonald's.

As far as real ice cream goes, I'd have to say either vanilla or strawberry.
