Ahm, there are, as far as I know, several serious tests around, which have different scales. So, the number says nothing without mentioning the appendant test.


130 = highly above average = 2 % of the population. If you have an other scale, 130 might mean slightly above average and 160 means the same as 130.

I would say some in here are inflating their scores cuz they know their's is lower then what most are claiming their's to be, and so they want to be up to par. The rest probably do have scores like they are saying. Civ is definately more on the thinking side of gaming, unlike first-person shooters, and click-fest games. So it wouldn't be unusual if Civ gamers have IQ's a bit higher then other gamers or non-gamers...

I also just did this IQ test and got 137.
There was an IQ test on TV here in Australia about a year ago and I got 97. I guess it shows that these IQ tests are not very dependable, or I've just gotten smarter over the year .

Well, I did that test and came up to 126. I wouldn't trust i though - partly bcause it's such a short test and partly because it was in English which isn't my mothertoungue and there were a couple of words I didn't quite understand...

But I work well with my brain and am all happy about it

I don't really think IQ-tests are a good indicator of true intelligence anyway. Knowing how & when to use your 'intelligence' is far more important.

um iq does not have to go up with age or down with age it will likely stay the same. Because they will test you on different things based upon what you should know at that age. duh

It's funny most of us are in where I am, last IQ test I was 136. And like Jack said, IQ means nothing, it's how you use your intellegence that counts. I've known some pretty smart dumb people and some pretty dumb smart people.
