I know this is rather random - but I've just noticed you are one month shy of being a civfanatics member for 10 years. Are you doing something special to celebrate

I've been playing Civ since the mid/late-1990s and to date, have consumed about 90% of my total gaming time. I loved Civ2 (esp. its scenarios), Civ4 and Civ5 but I hated Civ3. However, I didn't post at all in the Civ3 forums of how much I hated the game. It would've looked really immature and stupid for me to have done so. I simply moved on and ignored it, even its expansion pack.

I never really expect much in a game, and the reviews looked good. This is the person who would have the patience to play Portal 16 times. I liked Civ V, mainly because it was my first step into the Civ world. I have never played the previous Civ games, but I liked this one. I am excited for G&K, and who knows when a sale would come out for it. It is already 10% off!

I will preorder it.

I don't preorder games. I am not going to encourage publishers that I am already satisfied with their products before I own it.

I will buy it when it comes out.

With Firaxis being well known for having less money pumped into their studio than any other developing studios, I will hold my judgement a lot longer before making any sudden rash decision on purchasing their creations.

I will wait for reviews, and will buy it if they are good.

Reviews from whom? I don't trust any reviews from marketing sites.

I will wait until a sale to buy it.

It may be the case of the value for any future Firaxis' games unless they get mo funding into their projects!
