Which civ should I play in August?

Same poll, usual rules.

I encourage people to suggest civs for September, last time we only had two suggestions that weren't already on the list, one of which filling the slot of the civ that ended up being played. So there is very little change in the set of options, and I think it would be nice to have some more variety.

February/March: Japan

I suggest Persia for the September poll. The reason is that has become more difficult to expand with a expansionist Babylonia settling cities on hills with a lot of archers to defend and I believe it would be fun to play with them.

When does this poll close? I voted for India, but they clearly aren't going to win. So if it remains close between Tibet and China I might vote tactically instead.

Can we have Mexico again next month? I changed my vote to Tibet a couple of days ago, and I see most other people who had also initially voted for Mexico (7 originally) might have now done the same. The Mexican game feels quite boring to me and I'd love it if you suddenly got some ideas to make changes (perhaps to implement in the next map?).
