For me the worst movie ever was "Natural Born Killers" by Ollie Stone.
I had to see it twice to decide. That's how bad it was.
NBK is a story of two moronic versions of Bonnie and Clyde who go on the rampage for more then two hours.
And you will ask:and what is bad about it? seems like a fine concept to me...
And I will answer:
1. apart from the occasional rampage the rest of the movie is a pseudo-intellectual pile of excrement, with philosophical allegories ranging from Nietsche to the American Indians, pompous dialogue, eye piercing special effects, and hilarious attempts at social critisism.
2. Terence Malick did it in "Badlands" .Only much better.

Now I dont include this movie in the poll because it's a very personal choice. The poll is made-up form the worst movies in IMDB plus some personal additions :p

Note: "Plan 9 from outer space" does not feature on this poll because it is a masterpiece

where is gigli?

Pearl Harbor was good if you wanted to see some love story (though...the whole relationship thing is weird, seems like they all felt an emotional threesome by the end). But of course, we were expecting more battle! I mean, that was what was on their commercials...

where is gigli?

Sorry, it was so bad that I subconsiously excluded it from the poll(my bad) ;)

Wait...people actually saw Gigli? Or Giglee...or whatever the hell it was called...Giggly...?

Batman and Robin was terrible but for me personally a film called Consenting Adults from about 10 years ago was the worse, about a wife swap attempt that goes wrong. Even worse it had the normally excellent Kevin Spacey demeaning himself by appearing in it.

I wouldnt call it the worst, but Spiderman was the most atrocious bore Ive had to sit through in years.

Gigli yelded a Profit(?) of -66.8 million dollars
production 54m+promotion 20m-total gross 7.2m worlwide(of which 6.1m in USA)

Spiderman was the most atrocious bore Ive had to sit through in years.

I was actually planning a poll on atrocious bores for tomorrow :mischief:

Sounds like a good idea, as long as Im not one of the poll options!

@Chaos: I thought Unbreakable was pretty good, even bought the DVD.

What about that movie staring Britney Spears? I didnn't watch it, but judging from the trailer it has everything it takes to be the worst movie ever.

there are some Good movies in the poll....
and i dont just mean godfather (aint even seen it).

most of the movies on that list i actualy LIKED. you just have to watch tehm for the right reasons (and in the right state of mind for those of you who like altering it ;))

i just recently watched "Starship Troopers 2", i liked the original, but this was BY FAR the crapiest movie i've seen.

It's hard to have a single worst movie. There are lots I don't like or that I find boring, but I try to avoid them anyway.

I'm a total fan of both movies...
as to the altered states thing, I wouldn't like to be in a state that would make Rambo III enjoyable...

What about that film with Travolta, Battlefield Earth (I think it was called).
